It's a messy mashup of unrelated, former projects and films, presented as a film. Please, Full Moon, just stop.
Any cheap movie from the seventies is away better than this messy work. It is just a voice over video. I believe that they made it as a fresh topic for attracting the attention as a step for the actors and actress to be seen by slight larger film production companies.
Just like 20202 has been, this movie depicts what this year has to offer - nothing good.
Corona Zombies is lousy in so many measures that I'm not going to list them. But since I was expecting this level of crap, I was not upset.
Just like 2020 is a waste of a year - this is a waste of time as well, howeve it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, nor will it be the last bad movie I will ever see.
Don't expect anything worthwhile and you can't be let down.

Well, I do like a dash of irreverent humour now and again... and Corona Zombies fits that comedy to a tee. In these days of lockdown and near-constant handwashing, we all need to keep our sense of humour. It's also refreshing to have somebody satirising the subject that has taken over the TV at the moment - How many times can we hear that the NHS doesn't have enough PPE... well, I'm sure the Heroes of the NHS would be only too glad to wear any PPE magicked out of anybody's arse. So this was a refreshing and humourous change of pace.
There are only a few people involved in this flick... so don't worry. They adhered to the social distancing. You may also like to note that no toilet paper was misused and not a drop of antibacterial handwash was wasted... In fact, there are only three people in this film. A male zombie actor; a female disembodied telephone actress; and the lead actress - and even though she does a shower scene, they wasted no soap because she keeps her clothes on in the shower and washes them too... what a conscientious lady.
What Charles Band does is interweave two older B-Movie zombie flicks into one by using filmed segue clips and his cast. This works brilliantly as he re-dubs the old films with a more topical and much funnier script. Here, we see the Corona Squad on a mission to retrieve a stolen shipment of toilet paper. I have to admit I absolutely love Argento the crazy squaddie. He's the first to realise how you dispatch a zombie. One of my favourite lines in the film comes when they're trying to kill the zombies and one of them shouts, "Bust a cap in his ankle." There's also a nice dig at the use of gratuitous female nudity... though, as a man find nothing wrong with female nudity. Unfortunately, the jokes peter out in the second half, and that is a shame.
So is it one to watch? I would say yes. At least, the once.
Though be aware it's not politically correct - and let's face it, Donald Trump stars in this movie, so even the politicians aren't correct. So if you're easily offended, I'd suggest staying away from the film. This is a well slapped together film with more than a tinge of cleverness. Taking other peoples films and adapting them to your story is a skill. But adding altered dialogue, and making it appear correct, is clever. Hat's off to you guys and thanks for cheering me up in these tragic times.
If you can stop crunching your gears, then drive on over and check out where this wee little film ranked in my Absolute Horror and Just For Laughs lists.
Take Care and Stay Well.

Take Care and Stay Well.
Maybe because of the fear of having actors together this concept of dubbing and using parts of other films came into play.
Consists of about 45 minutes of Hell of the Living dead redubbed, 5-7 minutes of past Full Moon film from 2012 Zombies Vs. Strippers, a Corona related news clip or two and 7 minutes or so of new footage and credits.
Was hoping for something better, the ending of this mish-mash was pretty non eventful and non-sensical too is what was most disappointing.
Still was happy I checked it out and the remastered footage of Hell of the Living Dead which I probably hadn't seen in about 30 plus years was nostalgic also.

- QuizThe majority of the film is repurposed footage. Large chunks of Bruno Mattei's Hell of the Living Dead (1980) are re-dubbed and mixed together with scenes from Zombies Vs. Strippers (2012), while clips of real-world news footage and Donald Trump press conferences are sprinkled in. The only new footage features Cody Renee Cameron as a ditzy blonde named Barbie who learns of the coronavirus outbreak via the news.
