The lead actors in this movie are Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are considered as the best natural actors of bollywood, needs no comment on their acting. They always give their best and are always best. Anotherfemale actor in lead role is Chum Darang from Arunachal Pradesh has acted very well. Though not a very big role but her impact is very strong. The trailer of the movie already revealed that it is about LGBT community...but it is presented in the movie in a very fresh and new way. It has a message for everyone that we should understand and respect the LGBT community. We should understand that this is very natural and should be accepted by our society. This movie is also about "lavender marriage"...where two homosexual people agree to marry each other so that they can live in society peacefully. Overall a very good movie with very strong message for all. The only drawback is that it is stretched a little otherwise its a complete entertainer with so many good comedy timings.

This was a wonderful movie. The trailer made me think that it would be another generic 'small town comedy' with a social message (nothing wrong with it, most of these are enjoyable), but this was so much better. It felt more realistic than the Ayushmaan Khurrana movies.

Rajkummar Rao's acting was top-notch, Bhumi Pednekar is slowly and steadily climbing my list of favorite actors. The support cast did a great job too.

Shoutout to the writers as well, nothing over the top, yet real enough that you get the message but also enjoy the movie at the same time.

It's refreshing to watch an original Bollywood when remakes have been the way to go in the recent past. I was a little hesitant about the storyline because similar movies have been made in the past and in fact, social messages are often used as an excuse to make something totally random to sell tickets these days, but this was totally worth it.

I thought that they revealed a little too much in the trailer. *smh* If you have not seen the trailer, don't. Go watch the movie without expectations and you might enjoy it even more.

Humourous film which tackles issues like toxic masculinity, oppressive nature of middle class indian families, ignorance of society towards LGBT issues. Talks about the adoption and so many other things.

Actors are brilliant. That one scene between Rajkumar and Sheeba will melt your heart.

And there's one special cameo, for which you should definitely watch this film.

This is an absolutely amazing movie. Very well-paced, well-acted and well-executed movie. Character development and acting is just top-notch. Incredibly mature handling of such a difficult topic. Watch in the theatre, you won't be disappointed. The ones giving 2's and 3's are either homophobes or aren't able to appreciate good cinema. Please throng the theatre in droves, this movie and the entire cast deserve nothing but love and appreciation.

Badhaai Do is a lovely film that breaks the stereotypes in a beautiful heartwarming way. It is sweet, funny and sensitive all at once. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are such a delight to watch. Both the actors show their prowess yet again. Watch out for the scene where Rajkummar breaks down. It is one of the finest moments in cinema in recent times. Amit Trivedi delivers some gorgeous tunes.
