Are you serious?

I watched for a short time and was waiting for something funny to happen. This was just terrible. One of the best and funniest shows with Joel Mchale and even John Hensen has resorted to this?! Who did the hiring? No way this version of the show lasts. I still feel like they're playing a practical joke on us, I could have made it better than this and I'm not even in entertainment.

Can't beat jade

Whoever casts got this one right 100% I feel like she was built for this job. Been a longtime fan of the show for too long to count and she provides the perfect energy and flow for anything. It's refreshing and feels familiar. I truly believe jade is the type of person who doesn't come around very often. She seems very encompassing and overall like family.

Great reboot!

I was sceptical but Jade is doing a great job as the new host! Can't wait for more episodes.

What? You fire Joel McHale and hire this unfunny nobody?

Not funny. Host is obnoxious. Bad writing. I've been watching the Soup since it's first incarnation as Talk Soup, and it has never been this bad. This new host is even worse and less funny than Rodge Lodge. You can't force or trick people into thinking you're funny by simply being confident. It needs to actually be funny underneath all the posing. What a disgrace.

The Soup is an American television series that aired weekly on E! from July 1, 2004, until December 18, 2015 (and restarted in 2020) as a revamped version of Talk Soup that had focused on recaps of various popular culture and television moments of the week. The show was hosted by comedian Joel McHale, who provided sarcastic and satirical commentary on the various clips. On November 18, 2015, The Soup was canceled by E! and its last episode aired December 18, 2015. On February 18, 2018, The Joel McHale Show - Con Joel McHale (2018), a spiritual successor to The Soup, premiered on Netflix.
