The Legend of Viper's Hill

The Legend of Viper's Hill is a low budget but creepy little SOV horror flick. I liked it. It was a little slow (and talkie) at the start but once everybody is at the house it kicks up a couple of notches and doesn't stop.

The shot of the monster chasing Jacky down the hall creeped the hell out of me. I'd love to see what director/co-writer Lloyd could do if he had a bigger budget and let loose. I see he's done some stuff for Fred Olen Ray and so he knows how to squeeze everything out of a low budget.

Dona Henry who played Meredith and Rose was good in the pivotal role. Everything centered on her. Tina Michod (the hot blond) I think has a future ahead of her as a scream queen. They both got support from Dave Rusk (as the slimy law talking guy) and Tom Griffen (as the handy man with great dental work).

3 ½ out of 5. My only major complaint was the lack of T&A. but still an enjoyable creepfest.
