This was a very nice short, that was right up my street (if that is the correct saying). Great performences by the leads. I also like the way it was shot and the look.
Also I loved the soundtrack. It reminded me of the Neon Demon soundtrack.

This gritty drama highlights the controversial truth about Leed's Red Light District (a feature you won't find promoted on the tourist boards). This films bravely emphasises the emotional highs and lows of a legal sex worker, Isabella, and her pursuit for normality. It incorporates themes of truth, hope and ruin.
Excellently directed by Coz Greenop, paired with powerful performances from both leads and supporting character alike, 'Sweet Street' is a mist see dark commentary on life choices and the choices of a city to legalise sex work.

The lead actress Ariadna Cabrol keeps you gripped throughout, even through the scenes with no dialogue, Coz Greenop's directing is captivating to the end.
Coz Greenop's elegant new short; 'Sweet Street,' throws us into the dirty, violent world of a young sex worker in Leeds. He shows us how her life is stripped of all humanity, with a relentless round of disgusting men, drugs and alcohol. Beautifully crafted, this dark film delves into this sickening realm in vivid detail. We are given some hope when she is given a glimpse of what a 'happy,' 'normal' relationship could be like, only to have her happy ending stripped away from her, as her 'prince charming' lets her down; another man among many who cannot be trusted. Ariadna Cabrol is stunning in the role of Isabella. She is a mesmerising presence on screen. A stunning film that will stay with you long after you have watched it.

Sweet Street is gritty and gripping with a great moody soundtrack.
The atmosphere nighttime shots around Leeds are especially memorable. The colors somehow remind me of Blade Runner.
The fast paced story takes you through some of the darker, less well known sides of Leeds and leaves you wondering about the fate of Isabella the well cast lead.
Worth 15mins of anyone's time. Looking forward to more of the same from the team behind the movie.

This is a gritty and gripping short film. I enjoyed the contrasting themes and the underlying message of hope following the main characters story.
Brilliantly shot and excellent, believable acting. Awesome soundtrack too that hooks you from the get go.
Definitely worth a watch and I hope to see more.

I loved Sweet Street! The filmmaking was simple but extremely effective and the lead actors were flawless. I didn't want it to end so soon because I was really caught up in her story.
