-At the end of October 1992, a James Bamber who knew he was nearing the end of his life gave a long interview to Rosaire L'Italien, also a journalist for Radio-Canada television in the Maritimes. This document, produced by Lise Tremblay, is both his human and journalistic testament. In it, he speaks of the death that lurked around the corner, but which did not frighten him, and of his last moments with his wife. He died on December 28, 1992.
