Chappad Phaad Ke is a satirical look at the consumerism and hypocrisy that engulfs us in our daily lives, set in the background of a typical middle class Maharashtrian family. The Gupchup family is headlined by the strict disciplinarian and morally upright Sharad Gupchup, along with his simple wife Vaishali and their two young children - Shubham and Ketaki. Burdened by the load of living up to the idealistic moral values Sharad so vehemently defends, the Gupchups lead a life of quiet desperation. But when the family chances upon a bag full of unclaimed cash, amounting to crores, their lives are plunged into an ethical crisis, on how their worldly desires and aspirations measure up what would be the right thing to do.

Nice drama movie and acting of all the actors was good Nice direction and the actors in the movie were amazing. Storyline was good too, it's a funny and family movie.

India's own Parasite

The movie reminded me of korean movie "parasite" especially the ending. But to its credit the storyline and characterisation is more realistic than parasite and the satire on human hypocrisy even with in its most closest bond "the family" is not lost on the audience, well past the close of the movie. Thoroughly enjoyed the watch and special mention on excellent performance of Siddharth Menon who lived 100% the character of fattu Shubham Gupchup. Thanks for this well=made movie...

Good movie. Rushed ending.

Other than the last few minutes, the movie is worth a watch.

Decent acting, gripping story, great build up, probably. Deserving of a tv series instead of cutting short the storyline abruptly.
