Enjoyed it very much at the first season.
However, it deteriorated at the second season until it became unwatchable somewhere after the 24th episode (as you can well see by the drop of the ratings). The characters changed. The couple were authentic and now became something else. As if it is a series which aims only at feminist agenda goals.
Zaynep (Damet) empathy has gone. Mehdi became a thug and the new character Baris is uninteresting.
Maybe the 1st season is a true story, The 2nd- is sure not.
Would give 9/10 for the first season. Only 2/3 stars for the 2-3rd seasons. It happens too much on Turkish series. The producers want to keep the revenues but the series gets too long or the story becomes boring and tasteless.

2nd session is ruining Mehdi's character
Everything we thought about him is all different
The writer changed zeynap character too
I watch the first season and I gave it 100% now I have to take it off make it 20
Zeynap had big heart And she was forgiving now she judges. she has no forgiveness. She became mean and unforgiving
Mehdi was strong and generous and sweet and now he is becoming someone else

I would have put a good 8 but the series really disappointed me.
The first season was pretty good even if I found Demet not convincing at all, we can not feel her emotions, she has a frozen face that does not convey any emotion.
In Siyah Biyaz Ask Ibrahim reconciled me with the Turkish series, but in this series he really disappointed me, it seems that himself is not convinced by his performance, it's really a shame, I find him a bit too aggressive and angry not to mention the total lack of chemistry between him and Demet, it's a real waste of his talent.
The authors sold us a series as being a true story but it is false, maybe at the beginning, but from season 2 it became a big rubbish, suddenly we are lost and we do not know more what to expect.
Not to mention the fact that one of the writers on the show was fired lately which really affected the writing line and you feel like the events don't make sense anymore.
Frankly I do not recommend this series even if I am a big fan of Ibrahim

Even though the story is normal....the way they portray the scenes was very good and realistic. Demet's acting was excellent as always.she literally lives the character😍 Overall it was very nice.

Season 1 is great. Season 2 is not. Botched up storyline second season this is NOT a love story. This is not. Romantic story, if you are looking for that, then pass. The second season has the character Mehdi going crazy and hysterical and can't let Zeynep go. Zeynep remains as indecisive and immature as she did before she married. Not worth your time.

Great cast. Step away 'Jon series Erkensi Kus' and welcome Mehdi!
Wonderful acting by Demet and Ibrahim.
My home, my destiny is a wonderful Turkish series, beautifully shot, beautifully acted but looks like it has what I call the "turkish series curse". The writers apparently ruined Medhi's character completely in the second season, and this is why I stop at episode 12. For me the story concluded, Zeynep and Medhi found each other and I want to think they will be able to overcome all the obstacles and all their differences with the love they have for each other.
I read the plot of the following episodes, and no. I am not interested. I don't want to see Zeynep with another man and frankly I was really upset reading other reviews about what they did to Medhi. Shame to ruin this beautiful story.

I started to watch series because of Ibo and to see if Demet could transition to drama. She didn't. She had three facial expressions; stunned blank face, crying without emotion, and a smile that didn't reach her eyes. And Ibo just looked older, tired and bored (probably because he knew he was wasting his talent and time.) I think people who gave 10s don't understand quality performances and scripts or they were paid. There was absolutely no chemistry between the two leads. Nothing made me connect to the story or characters. If you want to see real chemistry, solid performances and engaging story in this genre see Back and White Love with Ibrahim and Brice Akalay.
This drama has everything. Romance, heartbreak, action, suspense, comedy etc. Each episode is crafted with so much attention to detail and the storyline keeps gets better and better. It's hard waiting for the next episode. The dialogues are so good and poetic. And the romance between Zeynep and Mehdi is so heartwarming and sweet!!! Demet and Ibrahim have so much chemistry it's insane! They both are brilliant actors in their own right but when they come together the screen catches fire! Both of the characters have demons that they're fighting with but together they're learning to build a home. It's beautiful! Can't wait for more.

In my opinion, the beginning of this series was interesting, but after having seen 3 or 4 episodes I gave up. I am a fan of Ibrahim Celikkol, but as another reviewer said, the chemistry between him and Demet was inexistent. The same reviewer stated that there is no way to compare this coupe of actors with those who played the leading roles in the excellent series "Siyah Beyaz Ask". I can't resist the temptetion to clarify that the leading actors were Birce Akalay and Ibrahim Celikkol and not Muhammet Uzmer.
Now whoever wrote this....with all due disrespect you don't even deserve 0 starts you deserve nothing at all....you completely ruined zeyneps character from beginning to end...I kept watching wishing things will change but kept getting worst...she went from being compassionate to judgemental...the character given to Mehdi especially in the second season...like..dammnnn bro couldn't make a decision...okay we understand mujgan was given a character for being rebellious but was it supposed to be to that extent....there was not full episode I watched without zeynep crying for some reasons....she cried until I started thinking she ruined the poor guy's life... listen writer next time if you feel like writing such for us.. please leave it...don't write just.... please leave it
Jeezz!!!

This is one of the best shows I have watched in a while. Demet and Ibrahim do a great job of portraying Zeynepc and Mehdi and their emotional turmoil

Hmmmmmmmm I did watch this because of Ibo :p compare to what I saw in Intersections, Black and white love next to Birce, here the story is so so, and the chemistry between them not at all, there some nice scenes, Ibrahim looks tired and like not him sometimes, maybe is the character like this? Demet still need to improve her acting :)

The series in written so well and the cast is incredible. Demet makes you feel every emotion that Zeynep experiences. Ibrahim has made Mehdi an endearing character, yet filled with fire in the moments that he can't hold back. My heart breaks for Zeynep as she is torn between her two families. I can't wait to see how she finds her home in Mehdi. Demet and Ibrabhim make a great team. I can't wait to see more.
Demet acting is really bad, one and the same emotion on the face in all scenes. While Ibrahim character is good, strong. But both do not look good as a couple, no chemistry at all... Waisting of time.... Stopped waching in the middle...

This compelling drama about a young girl (Zeynep) caught between two worlds, two families, and two men features dynamic performances by the talented Demet Ozdemir (Cilek Kokusu, No 309, Erkenci Kus) and Ibrahim Celikkol (Siyah Beyaz Ask, Merhamet, Sadece Sen). The story is unlike anything else that is being done, and every episode takes the audience deeper into the lives and minds of the main characters. Each episode ends with Zeynep (Ozdemir) talking to a therapist, and the audience empathizes with her as she navigates impossible choices in her life, sacrificing herself while trying to please everyone else. She comes upon Mehdi (Celikkol) by chance. Will he be the one to make her feel like she finally belongs somewhere? Can he make Zeynep believe that it is possible to be loved without feeling indebted to those who love her? This show is beautifully acted, beautifully directed, and features a beautiful musical score. The struggle to find one's place in the world is universal, and it's never a waste of time to watch the story of beautifully flawed characters who are trying to do just that.
I have noticed that in many serials Anger is a major turning point in the story . Male Characters display too much Anger and get totally out of control including in this drama too . I do not know if this is a Cultural issue with Turkish men and they need to learn Anger management seriously.
