A strange story.

A well put together documentary, revolving around a seriously unusual set of circumstances. This documentary appeared to be neutral throughout, asking questions from both sides. However, I have read since watching the series that the trial wasn't as flimsy as the doco suggests. Either way, it's definitely worth a watch.

So many questions...

This is more like a documentary on journalism than it is on the case of Keli Lane. It's a story that could have been told in half the time if it wasn't for all the time shot of the 2 girls spent in the office. There was way too much footage on them in their office making phone calls and getting hung up on. A lot of "Hi, this is... from ABC....", "I don't want to talk" click.

Aside from that it's an interesting story. I watch a lot of true crime docs and don't find myself on the fence often, but this case has me baffled. Why would she KILL her 2nd baby when it was so easy to adopt out her 1st and 3rd (which she basically just dropped off)? Why would she not just abort if she was so afraid of exposing the father? They dont ask many questions, and certainly dont ask about the father. On the other hand, why would this elusive Andrew M/Norris not come forward with Tegan when a women's (the mother of his child no less) life was at stake? I see other reviews questioning how she could show so little concern on where Tegan is, but its clear that this woman, after 5 unwanted/unplanned pregnancies in almost as many years can compartmentalize and seperate herself from children in her womb. But, she is obviously mentally ill though and is full of "how I was raised...." excuses. She's definitely narcissistic and the ultimate victim in her mind and it's kind of sickening. So many questions still after this documentary.

Was excellent

This was an excellent doco, really informative, yet I was left with so many unanswered questions. Andrew Norris, was obviously a name made up by both Keli and the father to conceal his identity. Why wasn't there more questions about him, where did he work? His Morher was mentioned but also no questions on her. Was this man a high profile person? Why on earth was keeping him a secret so important to Keli, so important that she was willing to sit in jail for 18years to keep the pact that was made? If that's what happened.

Again the documentary it's self was excellent, just so many more questions to be answered.

Do not waste your time

This person is not a documentary maker, she's someone with little to no talent who wants to be in the limelight and thought this was the way to do it.

Her excitement at the end was nothing short of pathetic. She got a serial lier to change her mind and say something that actually helps her case... regardless of if there is actually any substance to the claim.

3 episodes and we aren't any closer at all to finding out what actually happened.

Not only did you waste your time, but everyone else's as well. This sort of exploitative rubbish is the worst kind of TV. This hack needs to go back to podcasting.

Unnecessary, with zero substance

It's filmed quite well, however I've never cared so little about a documentary before. The entire first episode is predicated on asking a variety of people whether she was or was not pregnant during water polo season. It wears thin really fast and I can't help but feel so much of it could have been condensed considerably. You'll stop caring almost immediately.

Thought it was good until I look into it more.

This title has been torn to shreds by people involved in the case using actual evidence and destroyed the speculation purported. Really disappointing.

Had to turn it off halfway through

Very one sided point of view using paid actors to offer 'new' evidence that the cops apparently missed. Justice has already been served in this case so I'm not sure why this was even necessary to film, the lady is clearly guilty and the argument this doco makes in trying to prove otherwise is so set up and fake that its hard to watch.

One sided disappointing pseudo documentary

Unfortunately ABC's Caro Meldrum-Hanna has put together a very one sided biased investigation obviously trying to paint the narrative of Keli Lane as being innocent. However she fails to address one major issue:

Why wouldn't Andrew Morris ( or Andrew Norris depending on Keli's memory) have come forward with baby Tegan if he actually existed? So we are left to assume this Andrew Norris person is either completely unaware that Keli is rotting in jail or he has some sort of grudge against her and so wants to punish her for some unknown reason. It's nonsense!

Keli is proven to be a compulsive liar, despite the female expert supposedly saying otherwise. Her story doesn't add up. The people that believe she is innocent are the same people who think Schpaelle Corby isn't a drug smuggler.

Did she get a fair trial? That's a fair question. Is she guilty? Absolutely no doubt . Females tend to believe that other females cannot do bad things so they look for any reason(s) to assume innocence even when it is obvious this person is telling major lies and is hiding something.
