It's a raw and realistic story on what happens in US cities. This story took part in the city of St. Louis. The characters were well developed, it's a character driven film. It's a story where the main character is searching for redemption. There are some intense scene in the film so be mindful of that. There are also lots of well developed plot twists. The film's exploration of forgiveness and reconciliation is both profound and thought-provoking, challenging audiences to reflect on their own capacity for compassion and understanding. If you like stories about redemption show in a raw way then you'll enjoy this film.
Bruce Carlton Cunningham wrote and directed this excellent entry into the crime family saga movie genre. Cunningham portrays the lead character of Tremaine Willis with patience and heart. Supporting him are Morgan Pierce playing his older daughter Carlissa, and Cetris Ivy Sr as his brother. This is a violent family drama about feuding gangs in the streets of St. Louis, MO. The crime lord is portrayed by a woman, which I appreciated. A raw, gritty depiction of criminal life that delivers the goods. The lead character tries his best to mend his own past and stay out of the fighting, but bad choices on the part of his older daughter Carlissa pull him in. Excellent music and cinematography. Fighting and gunplay was suspenseful. This filmmaker really cared abut his message and he had something to say.
Un-Resolved isn't just your typical redemption story. This flick keeps you on the edge with mad tension, old scars getting ripped open, and secrets spilling out like it's nobody's business. The climax? Straight-up heart-stopping, got you clinging to the edge of your seat. But what really makes "Un-Resolved" stand out is the killer performances and storytelling finesse. Each character is deep and complex, making it easy to vibe with their struggles and triumphs. If you're into gripping stories, dope performances, and a real message, "Un-Resolved" is a must. I recommend this one with two thumbs up.
This film had me hooked from the beginning. It was raw and so realistic to what is going on in a portion on our city. The cinematography was very good, showing all parts of St. Louis. The characters were well developed and the acting was very good. I love the aspects of faith that were spread throughout the film, and the quest for redemption. There are some intense scene in the film so be mindful of that. There are also lots of well developed plot twists; shoutout to the screenwriter for that. This was just a well done film all around. It is nice to see more movies like that dipict the harder truths of living in this area, but also provide a faith base. Well done to all involved.
This indie gem is a story about redemption where an ex con Tremaine is trying to get his life back on track. He's got a girl who is terminally ill and one who is mixed up with the wrong crowd, trying to hold on to dear life. Out protagonist is trying to go straight however the underworld is constantly trying to pull him back in.
The pacing of the movie is slow so our characters are allowed to unravel into a modern day tragic story with dire consequences. The cinematography and the locations were particularly good and the violent scenes were cleverly shot.
Can Tremaine find forgiveness and reconcile with his past, watch it and you will find out.
