Wow. 27 minutes in and I'm like, "is this a horror movie?".

I'm not sure this qualifies as horror but hey, what a way to waste 30 minutes of setup.

This is potentially the worst slasher film series I've ever seen:

Reading these other reviews, I'm starting to realize that people who say it's "woke" don't actually understand what "woke" is. Nothing about the premier felt forced or out of place. Newsflash! Teens do drugs and have sex with each other. It's called life. The production. Alyeska are good. The acting is serviceable. The problem I see is the "twist" in the 1st episode. It's different, but I can see it being harmful down the road. Especially with the character development of the main actress. For now I rate it a 5 for being exactly what it is, average. Maybe some slick writing will change my mind in future episodes.

The killer is very obvious & makes sense but the plots to this kept turning and twisting and turning and then the ending plot of season 1 was just not that put together at all. So their is going to maybe be a season 2 if it gets renewed but so far its watchable but the ending is ehhh.

This series is very different than the movies. Like night and day. Only similarity is the general idea of the past coming back to haunt you. I applaud them in trying to make it their own. So far it's better than I thought it was going to be but still not great. It's very slow-paced and seems more like a drama at times. It's definitely heavily influenced by Euphoria's aesthetic, but not as authentic. It's watchable and keeps my attention so I'd recommend giving it a try. Just keep your expectations to a minimum.

Just watched the first 4 episodes so far the show is very average at best, very unlikeable characters so rooting for the killer, a huge problem for me is that every kill is done off screen besides one scene so far which was pretty cool. I dont understand why either because theres loads of nudity, drug use and some swearing so dont think its for the rating. Going to finish the season just to find out who done it buts its not been great so far. Watch if bored and want something dumb and mindless otherwise skip.
