Some kids never really get a break. There's noone cheering for them. And one thing leads to another for Chris, with very dire consequences. A real slice of life for many in the "fly over" states. I was moved to tears because this is the story for so many. Beautifully shot, real and gritty with moments of poetry and a landscape that is so familiar. The performances are very high quality and there's a no problem suspending disbelief.

This is a perfect movie. The story is great and it was produced on a small budget. There filming locations were also in my hometown so that was very cool.

A couple twists got me and I usually see them coming a mile away!

Great story, great acting!! The themes of guilt and forgiveness tucked away in a crime drama set in Iowa was a fresh take on a few things.
