Better than Until Dawn imo. The story is fantastic and the ending made me think. This game is tense and mysterious and intriguing. Gameplay, Until Dawn excels, but story wise this one takes the medal.
I was surprised to see the HUGE improvement after the glitchy Man of Medan! Still isn't as good as Until Dawn (at least in my opinion) but it felt closer to it than Man of Medan did. Wish the button prompts were a little more harsh though. I never missed one besides 1 at the end where I couldn't aim my gun in time. OVERALL, would definitely recommend! Had no idea where the game was taking me and made me second guess my choices! Can't wait to explore the other paths!
While not as good as Until Dawn or even Heavy Rain, this was a huge improvement over Medan. I wanted so hard to like that game because I love the Ashmores, but it was terrible. I didn't know a single actor in this game, but I was able to really dive into their characters. The story telling is 10x better than MoM, and the qte's have been improved.
I will agree with others and say that the jump scares are pretty much nonexistent. In UD, if you had a camera, it would turn on right before a scare, and while for some that cheapened the moment, for me that made me even more tense. I didn't jump once in this game, and I played with all lights off, surround sound, the works.
But overall it is a decent game. The ending surprised me and I actually liked where they went with it. You could probably wait tho until the price drops.

I think Little Hope is okay. The story is really good and better than Man of Medan, but the game has some flaws. I think the story feels a bit slower than Man of Medan, the QTE's are way too easy, easier than Man of Medan and Until Dawn, and it's easier to keep everyone alive towards the end. The ending however was a bit shocking and a little disappointing, and some jumpscares are repetitive and predictable.
Overall, the game looks good and the game does an okay job at jumpscares.

Real talk, I loved this game. The performers nailed their work, the story fascinated me, and I enjoyed the QOL changes made to the gameplay. I *did* have some issues with the walking mechanic, where my character would suddenly shift direction without my input, but the struggle was minimal.
The main reason I knocked off a few stars on my rating (8/10) was because of the ending. The twist was well integrated into the plot but I felt like it cheapened the more interesting story beats in a way that immediately left a sour taste in my mouth.
Other than wishing for a more fulfilling ending, and minor mechanical glitches, the game was/is well worth it in my book.

- QuizThe wartime photo in the Black Cat Bar shows a man who resembles Daniel, as well as other characters, which is immediately commented on in game. Daniel uses a character model who resembles Charlie from the previous game Man Of Medan.
- BlooperAt the beginning of the game Daniel loses his phone but finds a flashlight. Later, when he has to go inside a store, he asks Taylor for her phone because he needs something to light the inside of the store like if he hasn't his flashlight. After the store event, he is seen using again his flashlight for the rest of the game.
