My Left Nut

I founded this on my recommendation section on the bbc iPlayer and am a big fan of things such as the young offenders and this country, and was expecting something like that.

I then watched the first episode of the series and LOVED it. The characters were great and well casted. This was not what I was expecting at all, but is one of my favourites that bbc have made recently. This show gave me so many mixed emotions and feeling in the space i watched it (all in one) and made me cry for the first time in a while about a tv show.

I would totally recommend this, I loved it

I've just watched this and was pleasantly surprised. The story was well told and the actors were very believable and engaging. It made you laugh cry and care about what was happening to the characters. Everyone involved must have a bright future.

Saw an interview with Michael Patrick on Russel Howard's show about his experience and this show so decided to give it a go. Funny and heartfelt this deals with the subject many male teens and men will have encountered in their lifetime and that it putting off going to the doctor when you have an ailment and the importance not to. In this 3 episode comedy drama the much lengthier story of how Michael put off having a swollen testical looked at when he was a teen is dramatised with comedy and the impact that situation had on his life

Highly recommend this and is essential viewing for teenagers in my opinion

A big swollen finger to the nits who decided not to renew this series. It's a great production, well cast and wonderful story. It's not often that you see male centered story like this that isn't drowning in cliches.

For the the first 15 minutes of episode 1, I thought it was going to be like an Irish version of The Inbetweeners. How wrong could I be! Well done to the BBC in covering a sensitive topic. Not just the possibility of teenage testicular cancer but the importance of telling friends and family. The acting is excellent, in particular Sinead Keenan who plays the mother. This deserves to be shown on either BBC 1 or 2.
