A Mexican comedy.
The third installment of the grandmother.
It is about the grandmother who suffers a slight heart attack from having passionate moments and decides to summon her son and grandchildren to read them the will, but things get out of control when she reads who the house will be for, unleashing the conflict.
Quality.
It carries the same type of comedy as the previous ones, it is not something that has not been seen.
The point at which he wants to deal with the problems that can be had if someone dies intestate is fine, the problem is that he wastes it most of the time and focuses more on the situations of the characters, because he does not develop them, in fact That is something that does not happen, it remains the same, they only put more situations.
Performances to the place, nothing relevant, follow the same line.
If you liked the previous one, you are going to like it, but avoid it at all costs.
The problem is that it starts where it ends and leaves you the window to a fourth installment.
This should be the final closure.
When Grandma thinks ahead - tries to plan what will happen after she dies ... tries to make things easy for everyone ... well she manages to do the exact opposite. But what kind of comedy would this be, if everything went smoothly and everyone loved everyone without any kind of conflict? Exactly, not a good one.
That being said, I wouldn't call this a great movie either. But it is a decent comedy - and if you buy into the idea (that is anything but new or innovative of course), you can have some fun and entertainment. Maybe there are a few too many characters all around, but they are all sweet in their own way ... and sometimes not so sweet of course.

It's the kind of comedy that I don't enjoy, but incredibly, and contrary to my selective humor habits, I really enjoyed the "abuela" (grandmother) trilogy, they all follow the same line, but captivate by their simplicity, basic humor, nothing extreme, relationships family members are my weak point, and in the end I ended up becoming fond of and "empathizing" with all of them, each drama, each mistake, and the harmonic ending, or almost... #Delicinha.
The grandmother is back and is going to prepare her will; it is a great mediocrity; current Mexican cinema is rubbish.
