Recensioni in evidenza
A blind actress gets stalked by someone wearing a creepy mask in her secluded home far up in the hills of Hollywood.
Blind obviously takes a few cues from Wait Until Dark with its blind leading lady being menaced by a psycho and many of the stalk scenes featuring the masked killer peering into the heroine's full length glass doors call to mind Halloween. Despite a decent visual style and somewhat higher than usual production values, the story isn't very gripping and some of the acting is so bad it pulls you out of the film when it should be drawing you in. The killer is also such a blank mystery that you wonder what his problem is. Even Michael Myers had some past or history. The killer does have a striking mask at the very least.

I just don't understand the part of when a glass was dropped on the floor and the dramatization of going back and forth to the piece that was left on the floor and then she finally stepping on it. It had no relevance to the movie as it didn't even show her injured after that or walking funny.
I had not heard about the 2019 movie "Blind" from writer Joe Knetter and director Marcel Walz before now late in 2020 when I sat down to watch it. I glanced over the synopsis and it seemed interesting enough, and the movie's cover also helped win me over.
So I sat down to watch it, and turns out that while the movie definitely was watchable, it just wasn't a fulfilling movie. I feel like director Marcel Walz squandered so much potential, and the movie ended up being somewhat as a less than mediocre experience. This wasn't an outstanding movie experience.
I will say that the movie was nicely enough acted out, and lead actress Sarah French definitely carried the movie quite well with her performance.
One thing that puzzled me was the text to voice modulator, how quick it was to spit out full sentences, even if Luke (played Tyler Gallant) wasn't really typing or pressing much, that just made no sense to me.
And then there was the thing with the slasher or the madman in the movie. That was just a very anti-climatic villain to have in the movie. There were so many other ways that writer Joe Knetter could have managed to put together a more devious and memorable bad guy.
Storywise, then "Blind" was pretty straight forward, but don't go expecting a rollercoaster of thrills and excitement, because then you will be sorely disappointed.
All in all, while the movie is watchable, it was not overly enjoyable or entertaining. My rating of "Blind" lands on a less than mediocre four out of ten stars. There are far better horror movies out there that is centered around a blind protagonist.

Was really looking forward to see this movie.. so disappointed! Since when do you lose all facial expressions just because your blind.. felt like watching a statue the hole movie. And they forgot big details.
I would rather watch lord of the ring 100 times all over again than this....what a waste of time...love creepy movies and this sort of stuff, but this is just out of order.
