I've finally finished the whole trilogy, and it didn't fail to make me laugh out loud from the start to finish! Every movie has a different theme, and even though I found getting to know the Verneuil family the funniest at the begging (Qu'est-ce qu'on a tous fait au Bon Dieu 1), the following sequels did not disappoint. We met their extended families-in-law, the children, their cultures and parents. Even through the highs and lows, in the end, you can't help but feel endearment towards Mr and Mrs Verneuil and their life they've built over the 40 years, still living with love and affection.
On a side note, I wish there was no replacement of the original actress playing one of the daughters.

"Qu'est-ce qu'on a tous fait au Bon Dieu?" (2021) continues the lighthearted charm of its predecessors, delivering a classic comedic experience with a modern multicultural twist. The film skillfully blends humor with its exploration of cultural diversity, showcasing the quirks and dynamics of a large, mixed family. Its setup, rooted in misunderstandings and cultural clashes, provides plenty of entertaining moments. While it doesn't stray far from the familiar formula of Italian-style comedy, the relatable characters and clever dialogue keep it engaging. Some jokes hit harder than others, but the film's heartwarming message about family unity and acceptance shines through. A delightful watch for fans of the series.
So the verneuil are back and for claude and Marie's 40th anniversary together. Their daughters have decided to celebrate and invite the whole family, and by family I mean the parents of the grooms, who with them Claude and Marie are having a hard time to deal with.
The third installment of Serial (Bad) Weddings is a fun comedy for everyone to enjoy. It consists of black comedy and doesn't apologize for being courageous in face of Political correctness.
Claude and Marie have a hard time dealing with the different cultures and religions that each groom brings to the family, with the third one bringing the parents of the grooms it does bring a lot of humor and entertainment. Sure it would be fun to see how all couples will make it through this event. Family events can always be challenging.
The moments I enjoyed the most were the scenes with Claude and Andre Koffi, Christian Clavier and Pascal N'Zonzi are fantastic actors and they deliver an amusing performance over the course of three movies.
Overall I really enjoyed the third movie and find it to be promising just like the two others, for those who are a little skeptical about the humor I suggest to watch this film with an open mind. It is amusing as ever.

It's always disappointing when a movie has potential but fails to deliver. In this case, while the plot of the movie may have seemed interesting and even humorous on paper, the execution left much to be desired. The characters were dull, lacking any real depth or complexity that could have made them more relatable and interesting to watch. Instead, they came off as stereotypical and unoriginal, lacking any real depth or nuance.
The acting in the film was also a letdown, with performances that felt forced and over-the-top. It seemed like the actors were trying too hard to make their characters work, resulting in exaggerated and unconvincing portrayals. The jokes in the film were also a major disappointment, relying heavily on tired cliches and offensive stereotypes that failed to land with the audience. Some of the attempts at humor even crossed the line into being outright offensive and hurtful, leaving viewers feeling uncomfortable and dismayed.
Overall, the movie was a complete waste of time for anyone who was hoping for a fun and entertaining cinematic experience. It's a shame, because with some tweaks and adjustments, there could have been a great film hiding in there somewhere. But unfortunately, the filmmakers missed the mark on nearly every level, resulting in a movie that falls far short of its potential. It's a reminder that even with the best intentions and promising material, a lack of talent and skill can easily derail a project and leave audiences feeling cheated and disappointed.

French Comedy '' Serial ( Bad ) Weddings Three '' is the third installment and maybe the finale of the series of otherwise enjoyable family drama with great laughs and interesting characters.
This time around, the movie goes deeper into the parents' stories, as they have to join the rest of the in laws in a grand party for their wedding anniversary.
However, the comedy part wasn't as strong as the one in the previous movies, though it was nice to see the beloved characters again.
The performances were all great as well.
So, overall, five out of ten for the third movie of the ' Serial (bad) weddings ' series.
