Loved the movie, perfect representation of the today's society. Every cast member acted so well that it connects you. And how can we bring change in the society by not judging A BOOK BY ITS COVER, will make a great difference. Last scene, it tells everything about you, if you don't change.

The movie is fast paced and entertaining. Patralekha and Divyendu have done a wonderful job. The supporting cast support the main lead very well. I have always admired the work of Patralekha and its a pity we get to see her so rarely. Watch this movie as it wouldn't disappoint.

(No Spoiler)...Good plot but side by side it's raises too many questions about surrogacy without marriage because practically speaking it's look like a western movie which has been adapted into Indian Masala. And "Debatable" because any of indian parents won't allow their unmarried girls to do so. So kahani filmy hai Filmo me hi achi lgti hai. It's entertaining so give a shot!
Nice, feel good movie with nice ending. A serious subject treated with right amount of sensitivity. All actors are good with good screen presence. It's a plus one that the movie doesn't become too serious at any point of time, maintaining the lighthearted tone throughout. Need more support and encouragement for such movies to be made more often.

I started the film as I wanted to watch a light movie but zee5 just made my day or say week. Such a good movie, every aspect of movie was really fantastic. The film should have been released in theatres but people only run after big names, sad that many people will miss such a great, positive and constructive movie. The movie was complete in almost every manner.

Beautiful story writing, flawless acting, giving such an important message with so much ease. Such a sweet story. Loved the way how the story flows. Wish it hadn't faced the brunt of poor marketing. This movie deserves so many accolades. A marvellous film.

During lockdown, as there are nothing much left to watch, I watched it on Zee5. To my surprise, I found this to be an awesome movie. A well made movie where everything is just plugged in as right - good story, good acting and short.

This movie stands out due to the performances of all the actors especially Divyendu Sharma. He is certainly a raising star with a lot to offer. His performance in this movie is remarkable. Badnaam gali is a movie that you can enjoy with your family for the subtle humour and simple but entertaining script and storyline it offers. Also offers a good message to the society as well.
A must watch over the weekend to unwind and relax.

The movie touches the diminishes without slashing them. But focuses on surrogacy aspects, in the way that a society must treat it. I really loved it. Lead actors have nailed it.
One thing that got highlighted while watching this flick was , it has really good humours surrounded by it.
Writing was poignant and well lucarated . Background music deserves a clap for its snap to the point out approach, not crowded, not too attached. The whole script interviews and visits the demiltia of the society that are rooted to il-literacy.
I am just wondering why this movie has not got attention. Talking and pursuing those topics without slapping society.
The major stake of this venture is the capacity of the supporting cast that is fully utilised. Totally deserving to watch and enjoyed it.
I have 8.5/10 rating in my mind. But giving 8.
If you are not understanding the potential of the story, then be ashamed of yourself.

Badnaam Gali is a drama film directed by Ashwin Shetty. The film stars Patralekha Paul, Divyendu Sharma, Dolly Ahluwalia and Paritosh Sand.
Noyonika, a single pregnant woman meets Randeep who initially judges her. But when he finds out she is a surrogate mother he stops judging her and develops a strong bond with her.
One of the most underrated film of Hindi cinema and such film should be more and more discussed and highlighted. The film takes on an important subject of surrogacy in a comic yet effective way, the film may falter in the end with a typical bollywood formula of a safe ending but still the film manages to impress.
The plot of the film is good and execution is superb, the film depicts the tale of a girl who is often ridiculed and shames by the society and neighborhood because of her lifestyle the way she carries herself and mainly because she is an unwed mother. One day a boy enters in the same society and has the same feelings for the girl but does his feelings changes for the girl? Who is the father of the unborn baby? Does the perspective of the society changes? To get to know all this you've to watch the film.
The screenplay of the film is gripping and will keep you glued, the comic scenes works in the favor of the film. The climax disappoints a little as it seems that the director was in a hurry to end the film and with a little elaborated climax the film could've been little more impressive.
Acting in the film is superb and both Patralekha and Divyendu were very impressive, Divyendu deserves more recognition in Hindi cinema. Support characters were also very impressive.

What a movie! I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Bollywood has truly come up with a different idea that isn't just another love story, but something unique and compelling that needs to be shown to people. The film does an excellent job of highlighting how society thinks and how misinformation is created and spread. The storyline was gripping, and the execution was flawless.
I especially liked how Divyenndu performed in this film. His acting was exceptional, and he brought a lot of depth and emotion to his character. Every scene he was in was a pleasure to watch, and he showed great versatility and skill throughout the movie.
Overall, this film is a must-watch. It stands out from the typical Bollywood fare with its fresh perspective and thought-provoking message. It's a movie that will stay with you long after the credits roll. Highly recommended!
