A true dumpster fire in every aspect...

Sure, I wasn't really expecting much from a movie with the title "Amityville Vibrator". But since it was labeled as a horror comedy, I figured I would give it a go on the off chance that it might actually be goofy enough to be watchable.

Don't even bother with this 2020 trash movie, and yeah, it is trash. It is nothing but an excuse for writer and director Nathan Rumler to show off explicit adult scenes of masturbation and lewd behavior.

I can't even begin to fathom why people would opt to put their names and faces to rubbish such as this 2020 movie titled "Amityville Vibrator". Needless to say that the acting performances were nothing to write home about. Nor were I familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which surprisingly enough all don't even have faces on their IMDb profiles.

This was an abominable movie, and it is laughable that it could be labeled as a horror comedy, as it was essentially pornography. I watched the cut that was edited for the European market, but I don't know how much if differs from the US version. Not that I actually care in any way.

Do yourself a favor and give "Amityville Vibrator" a wide berth.

My rating of writer and director Nathan Rumler's 2020 swing and miss of a movie lands on a one out of ten stars.

Amateurish attempt at comedic horror parody

This film is very clearly a low budget independent based film which uses the "Amityville" name to garner a wider audience. Of course it has no relation to those films and we shouldn't compare it to such. We generally know what to expect from this type of film. Its main selling point is the abundance of nudity and explicit scenes shown throughout. Several are quite graphic with girl on girl using the vibrator in action with the camera panning in very closely.

The acting isn't great as expected. The overall quality of the film is noticeably lower tier. There are some bizarre horror acts and including a ventriloquist dummy stabbing these women with a knife. Where the women looked incredibly weak in seeing how much bigger they were to the dummy.

The conclusion went a little over the top gory with the dummy slicing off a character's face and putting it on his. The special effects and blood usages were certainly a lot. The dummy was possibly the best character as all the women were very bland and didn't stand out- maybe the nun but she has a very minor role and was underutilized.

As a whole the film is essentially an adult film disguised as a film. It isn't long in runtime which is one positive.

Not for the faint of heart

I love this movie because it's so disturbing but in all the best ways.

The whole vibe is like a 90s cult horror film which is great because they just don't make them like that anymore.

I love the cheesiness of the dialogue and the choice of music.

Definitely give this movie a chance if you're a fan cheesy lines and old-school gore effects.

Amateur porn gets mashed together with amateur gore

A woman goes through a break-up and moves into a new house where she soon buys a vibrator. What she doesn't realize is that the vibrator is from the Amityville house. Or, something like that.

AMITYVILLE VIBRATOR is a film that is pretty extreme in regard to the content and subject matter. This film isn't meant to be taken too serious but it's one of those films that would certainly cause some outrage if viewed by the wrong person. At just 63-minutes director Nathan Rumier does everything he can to keep the viewer off guard.

With a title like AMITYVILLE VIBRATOR one should know what they're getting into. Basically, this vibrator spends a lot of time up certain women and if this is your thing then you'll have a lot to enjoy here. I thought the film was an A+ as far as effort goes but at the same time the 63-minute running time feels twice as long and there are just a few too many scenes that don't work.

One such scene is an extended "trip" and this here just goes on way too long and brings the film to a complete stop and it just never remains it's momentum. There's nudity throughout as well as various sexual situations including a dummy with a large penis. The highlights of the film are the special effects from James and Amanda Bell. If you haven't seen any of their films then you should. There's some extreme gore and violence here and to me this was the best stuff in the film.

Move over John Waters, filth has a new daddy.

From the moment i saw the illustrated opening credits, i knew i was in for a treat. Amityville Vibrator is exactly what you'd expect from a sex filled, gore driven, satanic panic. It's got it all! Gratuitous sex, drugs, and the best of the worst dialog I've seen on the screen in ages. The only thing i felt was missing was another viewing, i can not wait to buy the dvd just to corrupt my innocent friends. I ended up with a stronger distrust for ventriloquist dummies than i did going in, and that's saying something.
