As a fan of detective/thriller movies, I couldn't miss this and I'm even more surprised by how much I loved this movie which usually doesn't happen when I watch a hyped movie. So thankful to Naveen for bringing this brilliant mystery to Telugu audience and dealing with a subject that's making a fool of the innocents. However, the sad thing remains that the film is unable to reach that set of audience.
Coming to the performances, Naveen just nailed it, the way he balances humor, emotion, and intelligence is commendable. Shruthi also did her job very well. It was good to see Suhas as the Kannada version of Agent (although he could've been used better). The screenplay was tight, always keeps you guessing till the end, lots of twists which don't seem to be coming. The pace of the film was so good that you can't think of anything else or search for goofs. The exposition in the film feels justified and that's not very common in Tollywood. There were little cons but that's negligible consider how power-packed the whole movie is, it's a must watch for everyone and I hope there's more to come from Naveen and Swaroop for the Telugu Film Industry.

**Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya** is a Telugu neo-noir comedy thriller that surprised audiences with its unique blend of humor, suspense, and a gripping storyline. Directed by Swaroop RSJ, the film introduced Naveen Polishetty as the titular character, a quirky and eccentric detective.
The film's strength lies in its unconventional protagonist. Sai Srinivasa Athreya is far from the typical sharp-suited detective. He's a bumbling, often clueless investigator who relies on his instincts and a touch of luck to solve cases. This quirky portrayal, coupled with Naveen Polishetty's impeccable comic timing, makes the character instantly endearing.
The plot, revolving around a series of mysterious deaths, is engaging and keeps the audience guessing. While the first half is primarily focused on establishing the character and setting up the mystery, the second half picks up pace with thrilling twists and turns. The film's screenplay is sharp and witty, with several well-placed humorous moments that lighten the mood without compromising the suspense.
Naveen Polishetty's performance as the titular character is the heart and soul of the film. His portrayal is nuanced, balancing the comedy with the required intensity for the thriller portions. The supporting cast, including Shruti Sharma, also delivers commendable performances.
The film's technical aspects are commendable. The cinematography captures the essence of the story, and the background score adds to the suspenseful atmosphere. The editing is crisp, maintaining a brisk pace throughout the film.
While the film is largely entertaining, it does have a few minor shortcomings. The humor, while effective, occasionally borders on slapstick. Additionally, the climax could have been more impactful.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya is a refreshing change of pace in Telugu cinema. It's a film that successfully blends humor, suspense, and a compelling story to create an engaging viewing experience. The film's success led to a sequel, further solidifying its position as a cult classic.

I never seen such a this type of movie in telugu (pichekkinchadu )
I gave high rating to this movie because it is worth. The concept and the storyline is first if it's kind. There are no songs, no dirty romance, no non purposeful heroins and supporting actors and most importantly no heros playing basketball with goons. You die fans of bada heros you what I'm talking about. Ultimately cannot believe it's a Telugu film industry flick. Potential to have a sequel and I will be waiting for it.
It's an edge of the seat thriller with truck load of humour and a bit of emotions involved.
Lead role carried the movie on his shoulders till the end.
All in all,the movie was brilliant!
