The film is inspirational, seeing the hot-blooded teenager Ma Shan's struggle for freedom and wings in the process of growing up, until he solves the disaster with wings. There is a line in the movie that impressed me deeply, don't be afraid of the wings in your body, with it, no matter how big the pit in front of you will become the scenery. A rare domestic science fiction blockbuster, the scene of the strange bird chase to see the thrilling, zero biological visual effects burning, the end is very touching, I want to apply for 749, the director can give me one? It is recommended that parents bring their children with them, and be sure to see the IMAX version.

The story line is awful and completely a mess. You'll never understand the behavior of ALMOST ALL character. I advice you not to watch this film. It will contaminate your mind and waste your time.

I can't believe that the duration of this film is 8 years,The shooting process was just put the camera into the toilet and take back after 90 min.

In addition,special effects is terrible no better than film shoot by a college students.(I'm so sorry to compare students with this film's director.) Also,the actors' acting is very awkward and boring.

I suggest that the director shouldn't release any movies in the future.

Saw the film's trailor and immediately grapsed by the concept. The mere collision between alien monsters, Chinese governmental forces, and teenager superhero is already captivating enough, but I was further thrilled by what they accomplished when watching it on the big screen.

The pandemic did greatly impact the world film market and interrupted many film's post productions. As a result, I haven't step in the theatre to watch a blockbuster film for years. But this film finally provided me wiht visually stunning and uniquely designed VFX after years of waiting. Little spoiler here, the monster designs, especially the monster birds are vibrant, dynamic, and horrifying. The aliens are even on another level.

The film's plots are fairly straightforward, but the protagonist's arc is still emotionally empathetic and the supportive characters also show enough emotional depths. A superhero movie on its surface, the story itself explores the themes of self identity and put extra focus on family dynamics, and different storylines support each other organically. This is the film that can be appreciated by everyone in a family.

I like the director's Kekexili and Missing Gun, but I never though he could also direct big budget movies like this one. In his interviews, the director said he directed this movie since he wanted to step out of his comfort zone - I have to admit he did it, and with great success.

I gave it a 10. Can't wait for it to be released worldwide.

749 is a great sci-fi movie to watch with friends on vacation! I'm surprised that Director Lu Chuan tells the story in a passionate and vigorous way this time which is totally different from his previous films. He was used to focusing on those realistic themes, such as the discussion of nature, survival and human nature.

I really enjoy this film and fulled touched by director's portrayal of Ma Shan. This born-different young man tries to escape and rebel at the beginning, turns to be "different and proud" at the end. A true hero is born when Ma Shan bravely leads the third team to complete the final mission. It's very burning and empathic. The Chinese-style "father-son love" between Ma Shan and Cao Guouncle is also very delicate and moving.

I have learned how hard the production and post production of this film is. I admire Director Lu Chuan's exploration and persistence in science fiction film production standards and international collaborations. I am willing to offer my support to every director who explores new technologies and new directions, and look forward to more excellent works by Director Lu Chuan.
