Getting Through to the President

It was refreshing to happen upon this film just now! It was showing between features on the Sundance channel. The scary thing is that even though it was filmed three years ago and the content was topical, it is still very relevant. With enough films like this out there, and enough people seeing them, maybe real change will come about.

At a time when the voices of the people are being stifled by the government and mainstream media, being able to hear the direct opinions of average everyday citizens in such an innovative way is encouraging.

Yes, I know the internet is changing everything and people can get their news and information online now, but I don't think the people that need their minds changed are getting it there. They're watching TV. And that is why I was happy to see this particular set of perspectives on Sundance.
