Ek Aur Sikander

This is one of Mithun's best performance. The angry character he played is really stunning. If you are a Mithun fan you will like this one. I like Mithun's role in Agneepath, Swarg Yahan Narak Yahen, Jallad and Devta. Also in this movie is Anita Raaj who does her role well and is the love interest of Mithun. Rakesh Roshan is decent in his part. Rati is OK in her part. The villain Amrish Puri is good as always.But it is Mithun stealing the show of the movie. He's angry like (Amitabh Bachchan's) movies Deewaar, Trishul, Kaala Patthar, Shakti,Aakhri Raasta, Agneepath and Hum. But overall Amitabh's movies where he played the angry young man role is greater

Ek aur Sikandar is in my opinion one of my favorite Mithun movies in Bollywood. A nice storyline with action, thrills, family drama and serious acting. Mithun gives a powerful performance and this is why he was one of the top actors in this decade. You have seen Amitabh playing angry young man, now watch Mithun playing it in this film. Difference is that Amitabh was named Vijay and Mithun is named Sikandar. Rakesh Roshan give a decent performance, Rati Agnihotri is good. Anita Raj is average, Jeevan is quite impressive. Amrish Puri is as usual Magnificent as the villain and yet he impresses. I recommend this movie to all people who enjoyed Amitabh movies like Coolie, Mard, Suhaag, Zanjeer etc. If you are a Mithun fan and you have not seen this film yet then hurry up and get it.
