Launch

This was one of my favorite shows on TV. As a bodyboarder from Hawaii this show was the show to watch, it showcased all the top riders (mainly the local guys but also some others) at the top spots. I used to tape this on VHS and watch it over and over. Production was top notch, what you'd expect from Tom Boyle. Even though the sport was big at the time this was the only bodyboarding show on local TV at the time. I would be so stoked when a new one came out because you could count on the footage to amp you up and get you pumped to go out and charge. When it finally went off air I had to watch the videos by Boyle to get the same stoke this TV show gave me.
