Rede Globo is well-known for its great pieces of "telenovelas" (sopa operas), but lately they are failing to deliver good entertainment. "Prova De Amor" (a production of Rede Record) is the evidence in which exists good soaps outside of Globo productions. Prova de Amor shows the reality of mothers who have their children kidnapped and the despair of the situation, mixing a fiction story with real crime facts. Other great feature in it are the performance of the young cast, especially Pedro Malta who roles Dudu and his twin brother Ricardo. Great performance by Ester Góes who had proved to be an excellent actress in "Perdidos De Amor" from Rede Bandeirantes.

This is definitely a great soap opera, with an incredible plot and a great cast with several Brazilian starts such as Claudia Alencar, Vanessa Gerbelli, Lavinia Vlasak, Leonardo Vieira, and others Prova De Amor is here to prove that there is great television series in Brazil besides the one that Globo produced. Besides showing the usual and always nice love affair between the good guy and the nice girl, this soap opera also focuses in crimes, kidnapping, etc. The author made a TV series with what people like to watch: love, action and great ideas. And of course with a great plot and cast the ratings will not lie. This who is getting the best ratings in the Record channel ever.
