First of all, I do not understand how every Turkish movie gets such a high vote? Seems Turkish people always votes high with no understanding of what a decent movie must look like.

Kurulush is a Turkish TV serial about the foundation of Ottoman Empire. Cihan Unal plays the lead role which is Osman Bey, the founder of Ottomans. A lot of government source spent on this film mostly for costumes and stunts numbering thousands. But that does not make a movie good. Directing is bad and especially fight scenes and battles were executed childishly simple. When people are engaged sword fighting you can not figure out if they are fighting or drinking coffee.

For the historical narration sake 3 out of 10.

Didnt watch the movie. my score is for the tv show. very amateur in the technical details but very interesting in sheer manpower. there are a lot of extras and many interesting scenes just because of that
