David Stanley indulges his foot fetish in this horrible Vivid release, perhaps the worst of his career. That final judgment awaits my plowing through the rest of his highly variable output.
It's insulting to the viewer, as the all-sex nonsense is cheaply and crudely shot on sets that seem to mimic those of an elementary school play (furniture and decorations scrawled on the walls in place of visiting the prop department). Each of five asinine vignettes ends with "Schmentos" being screamed, apparently a fictitious sponsor as if this were a demented TV program. The mystery of what schmentos is making fun of is left hanging, with my uneducated guess thinking of some breath mint.
Contract star Briana Banks is ill-served, with ugly make-up and crummy costuming to match. The sex is perfunctory and when called upon to "act" the cast, including auteur Stanley in a dumb cameo appearance, pull faces and look silly.
The foot fetish action, which emphasizes hose and stockings rather than bare tootsies, fails even on its own perverse level -lacking the camerawork or arousal value of real fetish videos. Watching a real TV commercial for feminine shaving or footcare products is more stimulating than Stanley's literal and boring approach -even the feet of otherwise beautiful actresses (Lezley Zen, Nicole Sheridan) are unimpressive here.
A total waste.
