Matt Mercury and His Rocket Rangers

I was lucky to see a copy of this movie. I know one of the actors, and I pleasantly surprised by the short. The main story is about the adventure of Matt Mercury and his Rocket rangers. Matt Mercury is played by the local weatherman of one of Houston news station. Matt Mercury is one tough and ready hero. His Lt. is Sparky a cute spunky gal, who seem a bit dense, but that is the charm of the character. Another ranger is Dr. Science, who is a cranky old soul, but is the technical genius of the rangers. Then there are computer-generated characters....the Cyclops and robot. The villain is a nasty evil floating head, which is very funny to watch. This one very campy and funny movie...remind me of the old campy movies they use to release in the 60's & 70's. This short would make a great Saturday morning show for kids and teens. I hope they will make a full-length movie, cause I would love to have a copy.
