Slow Jam King

Slow Jam King was a terrific experience. All of the actors were very pleasant and easy to get along with. Steve is a wonderful director who is laid back and knows what he wants. This is a quality which is very admirable and produces great results in actors. Steve makes you feel comfortable on set and makes delivery easy and stress free. Seeing myself on the big screen was even more exciting. But most of all hearing all the wonderful enthusiastic comments of my friends and even a stranger who recognized me from the film was very rewarding. Many of my associates thought "Slow Jam King" was a very tasteful and funny journey. Thanks to you all, Ranardo.

It is rare these days to go to a movie and see something truly unique. At my first viewing of SJK, that's exactly what I got. In this outrageous story, I cared about the characters and enjoyed their adventure. Everyone can relate to trying to find themselves. Everyone can relate to heartbreak and thinking about what could have been. But can you relate to all of these things happening at the same time in the same car? It takes a truly different and unique mind to smash cultures together the way Steve Mallorca did for SJK. The music was written by Mr. Mallorca and the theme song is set at just a perfect pace for the movie. I Strongly Recommend seeing SJK.

Put "Eddie and the Cruisers", "Boyz n the Hood", and "Napoleon Dynamite" in a blender and you get Slow Jam King. Smooth...

An unlikely trio tries to find themselves as they travel together on a wild road trip to Nashville. Just hold on because you can't predict where they're going or who they'll meet next. Some parts had me ROTFL. The story lines are as diverse as the cast and it all blends together perfectly.

The screenplay is cleverly written and you'll be repeating many of the funny lines from the movie over and over. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before. There's something in it for everyone (and I mean EVERYONE). You won't want the journey to end. So enjoy the ride and take it in like a s l o w j a m
