In the original novel by Alexander Osang Jan Landers' cover name was "Jimmy Page" in reference to the Led Zeppelin-song "Stairway to Heaven". Because this song could not be used in the movie due to the rights it was changed to "Pankow" in reference to the Udo Lindenberg-songs "Sonderzug nach Pankow" and "Mädchen aus Ostberlin". Later one was used in the movie close to the end.
