Caught the movie Chastity at a screening in California. I was so pleasantly surprised. I had seen the original "Chastity" just because I am a huge Cher fan, so I was intrigued. This remake contains many of the same themes but far surpasses the original visually. The break out performances are amazing, I can't take my eyes off of the actor who plays Eddie. I am not sure what else he is done, but I will find him!! It's strange that you don't feel as though you are watching a movie, you feel like you are sitting next to the characters observing a real moment. Just a cool movie, reminded me of the difficulties of "growing up woman", finding your sexuality and figuring out what to do with it, as well as and weeding through the people you meet only to find they are not always what they seem.

This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot of bad movies. Who thought it would be a good idea to release this?

Boring beyond all belief. Pretentious acting (except for Wade Sullivan, who actually managed a pretty decent performance despite the circumstances). Lousy script (was there even one?). Completely unbelievable story, if it can even be called a story. Some vague (failed) attempts at being artistic/profound, but no real character development. I've seen better directing in high school video productions. Even the lighting was bad.

Don't believe me? Watch it yourself...if you can find a video store stupid enough to carry it.

This is a great remake of the original chastity which starred Cher. This movie is much more intelligent and the production value is incredible. Great job!!!! I would highly recommend it to all movie lovers. The lead actress...Lindsey Mckeon does a fabulous job. The director shows true talent that is sure to be noticed. I would love to know what these filmmakers are doing next...does anyone know of their next project? This is a great example of what an independent film should be...a movie that makes us all think!! I wonder if Cher has watched this version of her film that was shot in 1969. The photography was beautiful and it really takes you on a magical journey along with the lead character.

This movie was very well done, the soundtrack is incredible, my hat goes off to the writer and director for creating this fine film. Lindsey McKeon is not only the most beautiful woman that I've ever seen, but she was perfect to play the part of Chastity and did an amazing job in this movie. I highly recommend watching this, I know i'll watch it over and over again. The movie is not yet available in retail, however I contacted the production company and got a screening copy. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. I have personally not seen the original, so i have way to compare this movie with the previous one starring Cher, however after seeking Lindsey take this role, I don't want to see the original.
