The score for the final few minutes of the movie, composed by Thomas DeRenzo, were inspired by the score from A Nightmare on Elm Street, which the director Scott Goldberg loved so much, that he wanted something similar. When the film was being edited, the score was played in the background and fit perfectly. Thus inspiring Scott to use that type of score in the end.
