The Ratties

Very funny thanks to Spike Milligan's brilliant ad-libbed narration. Haven't seen it since original broadcast. I'm just typing mindlessly now, in order to get up to 150 characters.

As with most kid's programmes you will probably appreciate this more if you grew up with it.

I did not grow up watching it yet I do like Spike Milligan and his narration is hilarious and I thoroughly enjoy every episode (they are short after all).

Spike is constantly holding back his own genuine laughter at the silliness of the plots and it is easy to see his influence on the writing and delivery.

My wife did watch them as a kid and loves them even today.

If you are even slightly into Spike you will certainly get a laugh out of this.
