This is a very well produce special. There is a lot more than just Denver looking at the camera and singing. Obviously it feature Aspen, Colorado and Denver. Added to that is a nice performance by Ann Murray and The Nitty Gritty Dirst Band, and a lot of traditional Christmas music, plus a few special tunes from Denver.
There is also a film about Aspen being used for skier training in World War 2. Another film features a farm. There is a feel good and warmness to how this is produced and presented. This is the type of Christmas special that dominated all the networks when it was made. Great family fare.

This is a great Christmas special. John Denver and Anne Murray are fabulous. The Dirt Band is in this as well. Just a nice, feel good Christmas special for the whole family.
