"When Dinosaurs Ruled" doesn't cover the dinosaurs that lived in Asia. However, the show was later bundled together with three other Discovery documentaries about dinosaurs - Beyond T-Rex (about the two other apex predators of the era that dwarfed T-Rex), Tyrannosaurus Rex (about the common misconceptions about the creature) and Asia - Land of the Dragon (a documentary that does cover Asian dinosaurs). They couldn't bring back Jeff Goldblum so they had Canadian actor Colin Stinton do the narration instead. It also aired in America on May 18 2000 under the name of When Dinosaurs Ruled China.
