Brilliant Performance By The Lead Actors

Sitara Directed By Meraj is A Romantic Drama. Script & Screenplay Are Well Written. Direction is Next To Awesome. Chemistry is Good Between Mithun & Zarina. Cinematography & Editing is Sharp.

Kundan(Mithun Chakraborty) & Dhaniya(Zarina Wahab) Are In Love. They Belong To Small Village, Both Do Pasting Posters Of Movies. Essentially Illiterate, They Love Watching Movies And Learn To Recite The Film Dialogues & Songs. A Film Producer Comes To Village And Promises Dhaniya To Make Her Heroine In Films, But He Never Calls Her. Dhaniya Along With Kundan Move To Mumbai To Earn Money For Their Marriage. They Meet Birju & Finally Dhaniya Becomes An Actress Sarita.

Now Kundan Feels Lonely In This Glamour World and Their Love is Lost Somewhere. Depressed Kundan Decides To Return To Village.

Mithun Chakraborty In Spite Of Being in His Early Days Performed Brilliantly. Zarina Wahab Gives Strong Performance. Paintal & Kanhaiyalal Did Well.

Music By R.D.Burman is Phenomenal. Lyrics By Gulzar Has Depth & Impact In Songs. All The Songs Are Good. "Thodi Si Zameen" By Bhupinder Singh & Lata is My Favorite.

Movie is Basically Based On Life Of Actors. It Shows Every Aspect Of Being An Actor. A Must Watch For Movie Lovers & Mithun Fans.
