Rachel Keller: It's kind of late, Honey. Don't you think you should sleep?
Aidan Keller: I never sleep.
Rachel Keller: Then let Mommy make you something.

Aidan Keller: Mommy, I love you!
Rachel Keller: I love you too, honey, but you're not my son.

Rachel Keller: Whenever you feel alone, you just call my name. I'll follow the sound of your voice.

Max Rourke: You know how I can tell you used to work at a real newspaper?
Rachel Keller: Why is that?
Max Rourke: Because you're the only one who keeps her office door closed.

Rachel Keller: Honey, tell me, what happened in your dream?
Aidan Keller: I don't remember.

Rachel Keller: It's always open... Her only way out is always open.

Rachel Keller: What kind of doctor did you say you were?
Dr. Emma Temple: I'm a psychiatrist, yeah.

Mother of Emily: [about a sullen Aidan] There's a reason God made them so cute, right?
Mother #3: [in unison] So we don't kill 'em.

Rachel Keller: What's wrong? It's just water.

Aidan Keller: She can hear us.

Max Rourke: [his last words] So what's the story?

Evelyn: You have to kill him.
