    Jerry Springer in Your Cinema

This is a must see for all Americans! It follows the lives of two specific socio-economic classes in a documentary styled presentation of the "Upper Class" in parts of the East coast and the lives of the "Lower Class" in the mid west. If you are studying sociology, or are just somewhat curious about how the rich vs the poor in your country live, this will open your eyes.

This film deals specifically with how rich people see themselves, and how they see the poor in the US, at times you struggle to comprehend what is coming out of some of these peoples mouths, and struggle to understand what has society come too?

This is a brilliant piece of work, hopefully it can change at least a few mindsets out there.

There is a Social Class System in the U.S.

12/13/17. It is quite obvious that the U.S. is not as egalitarian as those in the burgeoning middle class can attest to. There is a social class system in the U.S. that is quite obvious to those who are trying to achieve their American Dream, only to find there is a glass wall. This is a really good documentary that explores this issue comprehensively while giving voice to people from the various classes. It is amazing to watch how disdainful the super rich are about what they call white trash, and how even within in racial groups there are social classes. Just a warning, you may find the WASPs to be quite obnoxious in how they voice their right to entitlement as God given. Definitely worth watching.

    This will open your eyes

Although Americans don't like to admit it, the United States has a tacit socioeconomic class system. This documentary does an excellent job of profiling different groups of this class system, from the very poor to the very rich. I found it very interesting that almost all Americans see themselves as part of the middle class.

During the movie, it is hard not to see which of these classes you identify with. I do think, though, with hard work, some intelligence, health, a good attitude, and college loans, even the poorest of the poor can make a success out of his or her life!

This is an excellent way to spend a couple of hours. The reality brought up in the documentary was all I could think about during the few days after watching it.

    Noble Choice Mr. Spencer

Just finished this documentary in class and man was it a delight. I'm gonna start out by saying this film has one of the best soundtracks, certain songs really stood out like the high school song and grocery store song. Not only is the soundtrack crazy, the interviews they conduct are even crazier, you got people like Tammy who walks 10 1/2 miles everyday to work at Burger King, and then you got people like Bill Bear, everyone's worst nightmare. The documentary gives great insight into the social class structure in America, all classes are interviewed so all views are seen. Not only are adults being interviewed though, they interview an entire high school to get an idea of the class structures put in place in schools. All in all I would highly recommend this documentary for all people of all ages.
