It was very touching. I really felt for the main character. He was such a goof. Also, Nadia's portrayal as Grace was Oscarworthy at times. (Especially during the really emotional scenes.) If you ever get the opportunity to watch this, do it. You won't be sorry. My rating: 9/10. (Nadia's costuming as Patty was a little ridiculous.)
Michael is a guy whose girlfriend has left him. So he decides to make a video depicting his relationship with her, with the hope that in a "Six Degrees" way, someone who knows her will see it and tell her (Grace) that he misses her.
So not only does this film include the scenes, but also interviews with his "family," and "friends."
Excellent performances by all, but especially Nadia, a stand out playing Nadia (Michael's friend), the fake Grace, and the fake Patty, the women who came between them.
It's really a sweet tale, very natural. We all know people like this.
8 stars out of 10.
I saw it on IFC. I have heard that it will be released on DVD as well. I do like this trend of more independent projects. This is an example of a good project.
I hope that he finds her.
Take a look and be entertained.

- QuizThere are several references to the Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte. Magritte is the answer to one of Michael Connor's crossword puzzles, given by The Puzzler. The title of the film parallels the phrase "This is not a pipe" ("Ceci n'est pas une pipe") used in conjuncture with the image of a pipe in several Magritte paintings, namely The Treachery of Images (La trahison des images, 1928-29), The Tune and Also the Words (1964),and Les Deux Mystères (1966).

Michael Connor: Well, THAT sucked. Me sitting there on the couch? I know, that sucked. But please, hear me out.
