When I was 21 years old I bought my first Non-Linear Avid Edit System and did all off the editing for this 13 episode Dutch Drama series. It was one of the first Non-Linear postproduction workflow in NL. Together with Director Nico Knapper we were the first to explore the unlimited possibilities of this way of editing. Now we can say, that was back in the old day's. It was a big honor at my age of 21 to get the chance of working with the famous Dutch Director Nico Knapper. He gave me the chance, and I took it. Nico was my godfather and I have deep respect for the endless trust he put in me, as a guy, who came straight from the Media Acadamy. The series was a huge challenge for me and a big step up for the rest of my career. It's ironic, the title of the series was 'The Last Career'. 14 years later it's still my career.
