Who wanted this? 20 year later they made almost the same product that no one asked for or cared about.
Hollyweird doesn't learn. Nor do they care.

"Gotham Girls" is a web-series on the WB's official site. It follows the femme fatals and the heroines from "Batman" around Gotham City. The character designs are hip and sexy, taking after the style of the animated series. Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Batgirl are the focus of the series. We get a variety of episodes from a pointless, but fun, day to an absorbing mystery given in segments. This show is an excellent example of a well done web-toon. It has good animation and the original voices from the series.
I recommend this show to any fans of "Batman" or anyone just looking for something entertaining to watch.

Gotham Girls is a series of web shorts produced by Warner Bros from 2000 to 2002 (three seasons of 10 episodes each), focusing on the female superheroes and supervillains of Gotham City. Every episode features Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. Recurring characters include Zatanna, Renee Montoya, and the only prominent male character, Commissioner Jim Gordon.
All episodes of the first two seasons are self-contained and very comedic, whilst the third season shifts to a more serious tone, and tells a connecting story (around 30 mins long in all) about the mysterious disappearance of every male in Gotham City, and how Batgirl, Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman put aside their differences and work together to solve the mystery and bring the men back. The show is set firmly in the DCAU, with the same distinctive character designs and general art style, with several BTAS/TNBA voice actors reprising their roles,
Tara Strong - Batgirl, Arleen Sorkin - Harley Quinn, Diane Pershing - Poison Ivy, Adrienne Barbeau - Catwoman (Barbeau also takes over the role of Renee Montoya), and Bob Hastings - Commissioner Gordon
The first two seasons range from mildly amusing to occasionally laugh-out-loud, whilst the third is pretty gripping and wouldn't have felt out of place in BTAS/TNBA. All the returning voice actors are note-perfect, and the supporting cast do a fine job. 7.5/10.

It's not good. The story was... ehhh... most episodes are just random nonsense. The episodes that actually had a story were also bad but i guess someone out there is going to like it. I just feel like when watching the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) This is just not worth watching it has no impact on the main story at all. The characters are... somewhat good... Harley is still the sociopath she is and ivy is still crazy about plants and catwoman is still a Jewl thief so i guess for what it is it's what it's made to be and that's really all i can say about this online web series. Thanks for reading.
Just watched all webisodes of this series. Pretty good idea. Too bad that it isn't on the TUBE. But glad to see it somewhere, good uses of original voices. THANKS to all those involved. Let's see more of the Gotham Girls.
