Knight Hunters: Weiß Kreuz

I liked this anime very much because its theme and stories are relevant because of varying kinds of evil doers getting off because of wealth and influence. Because of their wealth, influence and/or connections they have nothing to fear from the law.

A team of assassins work for a group to combat these type of villains each of them has a personal reason of some kind for it and each of the four members are quite interesting characters as when I got this anime off an import DVD.

This is one I'm sad doesn't seem to be very well known but a good friend introduced me to it and I went to get it and well it was a decision I didn't regret at all.

This isn't exactly AMAZING anime,but it's entertaining.Knight Hunters is about four boys who run a flower shop by day and are assasins by night.The plot is somewhat original and the animation is okay.Even though this is often classified in the action genre,girls will probably enjoy this more than boys mostly due to the bishonens(pretty boys).There is better anime out there,but you probably won't be disappointed with this one.I give it a 7/10

I liked this anime very much because of its theme and stories, originally I would have given it a 10, but since then I have seen some amazing animes and although this is great - it doesn't have the depth of the other anime's I have rated a 10, but what I really like about it, is the way it makes you question about the world, especially how evil doers get off because of wealth and influence and how wealth, influence and/or connections they have nothing to fear from the law.

The ending is very sad, that is all I am saying, and it shouldn't have ended the way it did - but I guess this is truer to life than most Marvel super hero stories.

an assassin story! and you thought those days of Japanese film-making were over...well, Takehito-sama brought them back, just for us. very dark and violent, though not quite as gratuitous as parts of the manga. great soundtrack albums, too, because Weiss is a great vocal group (but don't expect much from the Schwarz songs...).

okay, it's true that, even for the time it was released, the animation of Weiss Kreuz wasn't exactly up to snuff. and it's true that a good deal of the angst is so contrived and plot-device-induced that it feels like it belongs in a yaoi manga.

BUT! it's also true that the cast includes Seki Tomokazu, Koyasu Takehito, Yuuki Hiro, and Midorikawa Hikaru.

it's angsty, the characters are involving, and listening to it is like bathing in chocolate. old-school enjoyment, pure and simple. <3 8/10 stars

Four handsome young men work in a flower shop by day. By night, they are the elite team of assassins known as Weiß (pronounced vice), lead by a mysterious person known only as Persia, and dedicated to 'deny the beasts of evil their tomorrows'.

While not the best anime ever, Weiss is quite an entertaining show. Dark pasts, comic relief, guns, knives, swords, and the ever-wonderful bishonen (pretty boys). The story is original the music is very good, and the animation is pretty nice. But the best part is the voice acting. If you're a fan of Jamie McGonnigal or Paul Juhn, you'll be in heaven. If you prefer Japanese voice actors (or seiyuu), the cast is packed with stars, including Koyasu Takehito (Zechs Merquise of Mobile Suit Gundam W), Shinichirou Miki (Katan of Angel Sanctuary), Midorikawa Hikaru (Hide of 3x3 Eyes) and Ryoutarou Okiayu (Watanabe of Excel Saga).

I give this series a 8/10 in Japanese and subtitles, and a 7/10 in English dubs. It's probably more of a 'girl' anime, but the action sequences will get the guys to hang around.
