    Burns me up

I agree with the guy who thinks the criticism of B.B. as host is irrational. Maybe I'm being distracted by her looks, but I think she does a good enough job aside from the canned comments she is expected to deliver. Being a prior Baywatch actress is no reason to automatically qualify Burns as an idiot, which is the conclusion many seem to be jumping too.

Other than that, I think the premise behind Dog Eat Dog is refreshing. Yes, they did overdo the strip tease themed events, but overall I've found most of them interesting to watch, and better than most of the stuff on Fear Factor and the incredibly lame Survivor events (of late). I do think they should broaden the final Top Dog v Pound confrontation somewhat, seeing as how common knowledge is a weak point for many of the contestants on the show (although the TD does need the event biased towards them I suppose).

Good show, and if anything is changed when it returns, it should be minor.

    The best show..ever.

I love Dog Eat Dog. I think it's one of the best shows i watch. Everyone always assumes its a useless and dumb show just because Brooke Burns is the host and she was on Baywatch. They all say shes the typical "hot, slutty host" but thats not it. She's not like that at all. It's such a shame the show got canceled. I watch it on GSN still, only twice a week, Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 o clock. I wish they would bring the show back so much. I love the games, they're so creative and original. The one i especially like is "He or She". 6 men dress up as women..but one is actually a real woman. You have to guess the correct one. Though i never get it right i love it. This can also be done vis-versa. But i completely disagree with all the comments saying its a horrible show.

Hello folks and welcome to the crack and cleavage show.

I used to like Television until the whole Reality TV trend. As mentioned so many times before, the bar for quality and decency is lowered with every new show. "Dog Eat Dog" is a reality show where men and women slug it out against each other in physical and mental challenges, most of them involving a huge pool. The rules of the game are unimportant because `in reality' they are just an excuse to show wet chicks in bathing suits. The show's contestants are aspiring stars (Waitresses & Personal Trainers) who want to get in some time behind the camera and hopefully get discovered. Designed for the 18-24 year old male audience, it's so blatantly contrived that most of the time only the girls end up in the water doing challenges. Before that, though, they have to strip down to their suits in front of the camera as it pans up and down their body. Watching this and countless shots of contestants' hooters and crotches as they frolic about in the pool makes one feel like some pervert at the beach. If you like to check out women in swim suits while they're not looking this show is for you. Now I don't mind a little harmless eye candy, but I'll stick with "Wild" on E! or Baywatch reruns.

I hate to be cynical.. But depicts Americans as Idiots

Okay.. I realize that standards are falling, and the nation is becoming dumber and dumber as less and less books are being read, and more shows like this are being thrown on the air. The sad thing, is Americans are buying into it. The game show is based upon six contestants who are playing as a "team", yet constantly bashing each other, and attempting to widdle away at the the team until one person is remained standing. Then once one person is left, they set it up so that the other 5 contestants answer trivia questions at the end to try to take and split the money that the sole contestant has earned. What makes it a poor competitive game show, is that the sole contestant doesn't even get to answer the questions.. He merely gets to pick who gets to answer them... Where is the competition in that? That is hardly my main contention with the program... My biggest problem with the show, is that it makes the whole country look like idiots. If these are the finest that America has to put on a game show, we are in big trouble. I mean, supposedly, 6 average people are put into this "competition", and sadly the product is utter stupidity. Every two seconds they are blindly insulting each other, passing judgements, while the innocent seeming hostess reads off her cue cards, and asks provoking questions. The sad thing is American teens are eating it up. It has everything MTV has prescribed for this generation: A by standards hot host, verbal abuse, and conflict. What is the point? Why don't they just give each contestant their share of the money to run around naked and swear at each other? Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means a conservative thinker... However, It upsets me to see people buy into this crap. Is this what the future of television is going to be like? Is this an indication of what the future of America is going to be like?

So.. If you are 13, and want to see something entertaining to your sex drive and adrenaline, get a dirty magazine.. If you want to watch an hour of trash, watch "Dog eat Dog".

You know why you love Dog eat dog

You know exactly why you tune into Dog eat dog each weekend on GSN - Brooke burns is a sexy lady and watching women swim in their bikinis (and if you're a lady, watching all the fit and thin guys go shirtless.) generally, the only reason Dog Eat Dog was so popular, was it's sex appeal. You cannot deny it.

And if any of you caught my older review of this, I wrote it at the tender age of 14. I was a stupid, brainwashed, sheltered teen who should've had a less radical Christian upbringing.

The game goes as follows - 3 guys and 3 girls are sent to a camp to get to know each other in multiple categories, and the next day they're brought to the studio to play the game. depending on whom they believe is weak for the challenges that are laid out for them, they must vote out a specific person for that challenge, until it is down to 2 of the contestants, who go head to head, in which the winner faces all the eliminated contestants in the "Dog Pound" and he or she must pick the eliminated contestants to answer the questions. if the dog pound gets 3 questions right, they each win $5,000 where if they get 3 questions wrong, the last contestant standing wins $25,000.

Back when the show debuted, I had just turned 12 and pretty much went bonkers over the show. any 12 year old hitting puberty would love to watch women 10 years his senior strip down to bikinis (and even less on the strip-games.) but of course the same went for girls watching guys 10 years their senior doing the same.

Bottom line, Dog eat Dog is on GSN on the Weekends.

Host, Brooke Burns personally said that her favorite "prank" among the Dog Eat Dog games is when the competitor has to strip off what he or she is wearing, as they try to complete their challenge, she calls it "strip darts" or strip quarterback or strip hangman, and one time it was strip golf,
