When I saw this film, I had many active questions, for example why a man was attacked by a non-businessman and why the non-businessman was at the office. These questions were gradually solved during the film. I think that the audience enjoys the film to the last because they want to know the answer to these questions.
In addition, I think the reason the audience enjoys the film is that the film is close to their life. They can imagine the working condition in the film easily and visualize if there is a non-businessman like Terry Tate in their office. The familiar situation is easy to imagine and so the audience enjoys it.

This movie's idea is very funny and interesting. I can't come up with this idea. The thing we can't expect happens in a movie, so the movie will be fun and entertain people.
The first scene which one man comes in has high impact, because the man who doesn't suit company and one man shouts the words which are not usually used in company. When I watch the first scene, I laugh and my eyes are glued on this movie, so I think it is also important to hook the audience in the first scene. What is more, the situation in company has changed since the man comes. That's also what I think is good. If you have the opportunity to see this film, please pay attention to that!

These are by far some of the best ads EVER!!! They are a smart juxtaposition of office politics and the American sports mentality. Not to mention subtle pop culture references like "How many times to have to tell you to put a cover sheet on your TPS reports, GARY?!!" The fact that the name of the company is Felcher and Sons is genius in and of itself. Mr. Felcher's business cliches like "thinking outside the box" and "synergy", mixed with Terry's trash-talking after every hit, elevate this commercial to greatness.
Oh, and I love the fact that in the new short, T.T. VS. H.R. the firm the Human Resource woman works for is called "Sanchez and Steamer"!!!

I first saw this during the Super Bowl and could not stop laughing!! I guess the concept of an "Office Linebacker" appeals to me and should to anyone who has had to work with inconsiderate co-workers(and haven't we all?).
Productivity is up at Felcher & Sons and the CEO puts it all down to the impact of one new employer former NFL player Terry Tate. In his role as Office Linebacker Terry ensures that the annoying and inefficient people in the office are kept on their toes with a range of tackles, smackdowns and trash talking.
I really hate American Football and the idea of watching the Super Bowl for 4 hours in the middle of the night is not one I have any interest in. However in America the TV spots and commercials seem to be one of the big attractions for the audiences with big film trailers, trunk monkeys and things like this short film. Here we have the simple idea of a NFL player taking out "punks" within the office environment, shouting and shouting "bitch" a lot. It is a simple idea but it is very funny the guy who finishes the coffee, the bad worker, the annoying chatter, the guy who uses speaker phone in an open plan office they all get taken down by Tate. It is perhaps funny because we all have people like this that we wish would be taken down in style and it is perhaps a bit of escapism.
The tackles are very convincing and had me wincing several times. Tate is played with real energy and the juxtaposition of his attitude and the bland world of the open plan office make for a comic mix that works very well. Meanwhile the office staff are convincingly played and also take hits very well. Overall a very funny advert that had me laughing from start to finish; it can be easily downloaded and it is worth trying to find.

This is the funniest short ever. It's got everything...Yelling,physical comedy, interoffice politics, shouting, bone crunching hits, screaming, profanity.
A masterpiece. Nuff said.

In this short movie we enter the funny and humorous universe of an American office where employees are forced and constrained to work properly after the arrival of an office linebacker. The linebacker is really special. Indeed, when the workers make a mistake (for instance throwing a can I a wrong trash) or do their task with a small amount of enthusiasm, the linebacker jump on them and tackle them. In a nutshell, the "Terrible" linebacker ensures that everything works well in the office.
What is really appreciable in the movie is the excessive amount of humoristic behaviors coming from all the characters: from the extreme enthusiasm of the office linebacker to the fear of the other workers, the audience is fulfilled with hilarious moments. Another noticeable aspect is this whole exaltation of references to the American culture: from the American football uniform to the music. This can be quite interesting in the sense that this is visible the whole movie.
On the whole, this short movie is a typical American short movie, but the funniest part relies in the excessive hilarious office linebacker. I would really recommend to catch it !
At first, I enjoyed the situation that the rule in an office enforced by an American football player. This is because I think that we don't have this situation practically. Also, I felt that Terry is strong and has a strong sense of justice. When Terry defeats people who break the rule of an office at first, it was fun and I felt that this situation is right. However, as the plot develops, I become tired and hard to watch this story because I felt that the deed of Terry is domestic. Surely, people who break the rule of an office are wrong and give trouble but I felt that is going too far. I think that this is because of "movie", so I think that the screenwriter wrote this story exaggeratedly. However I can't enjoy and like this movie. I think that I can enjoy this story when Terry is not domestic a bit more and this movie is shorter.

'Terry Tate: Office Linebacker' is structured like a documentary with the commentary of the office's inhabitants guiding us through the situation that has taken stronghold of their workplace. This situation is as ridiculous as it is appealing, comically exposing the binary mentalities that pervade the worlds of corporate America and elite sports. Productivity and efficiency are the goals toward which the office workers are setting themselves, and by taking the methods employed in the starkly different world of American football to push these workers, notions of professionalism are deconstructed as we realise that we have all, at some point, wanted to be Terry Tate. We are not allowed to be Terry Tate, however, because of the social codes by which we have to abide our conduct. As a result, we must find solace simply through the power that the screen holds in realising our deepest fantasies.

I saw this for the first time yesterday and I've already played it 30 times.
My favorite part was the guy with the recycle bin.
"The pain train's comin'! WOO WOOOOOO!!!"
Priceless!

This short film is very funny and unique. I have never seen a film like this. It starts with Terry Tate tackling the man who broke the rules. Terry tackles the office workers who break the rules. These rules are very small, and we often see many people break those rules in the real world. In this film, Terry tackles so many people and they all look scared of him, and it looks like Terry is the rule in this office. However, he fits in the office as the important member of this company, and as family. He is not only feared by the office workers. It is fun to watch it. He tackles people but he never hurts them, so it is not a violent film, and Terry is a player of American Football, but if you do not know what this sports is, you can still enjoy this film.
This movie is about a man, Terry Tate, who is an Americanfootball player. He patrols his office, and he warns someone not to break the rules of his company through tackles and a big voice. This mo,vie is a comedy, but it tells us the importance of complying with rules. For example, the football player tackles a man who tries to bring a dozen pens to his home, and the player scolds the man and warns him in a big voice. The scene that the American football player tries to return from the injury by an accident is very funny. He feels the tackles to someone who breaks the rules are his mission. It is also funny that there is a very large gap between what he does and the seriousness and enthusiasm of it. I feel another gap from him. When he does a presentation to his colleagues, I can feel he is intelligent, cool, and passive. The figure highlights what he tackles for the co-workers with eagerness. First, I am surprised because of his severe tackle, so I think it is a violence movie, but this movie fell short of my expectations. I like this movie since it tells us the importance of observing rules in a fun way.

I have a hard time finding a bad comedy that takes place in an office. Recently "Wolf of Wall Street" had gave me a cramp of the diaphragm, "The Office" has been earning my love since I was 10, and Terry Tate... is any word necessary but thumb up to Reebok? A linebacker thrown into the office "the idea". And Lester Speight figured it out with being totally in character of "Terrible Terry Tate(a.k.a The Pain Train a.k.a Triple T)". I remember watching the U.S president election commercial of the guy some time ago, which was the first "Terry Tate" series I ever watched and yet it was the last one as the series. I'm seriously hoping Terry Tate will come back on TV, which I, and younger generation not knowing Terry Tate would definitely interested in Reebok products.
P.S, I found out that Reebok came in after this short film

Office discipline can be a tough thing to enforce, but here's one solution - hire a linebacker to drill those rules into your employees, with the help of a little rough and tumble. Part of a series of Reebok commercials produced for the Superbowl, Terry Tate: Office Linebacker follows the titular Terry Tate in his role as office linebacker, which is about as ridiculous as it sounds - Tate tackles his coworkers for not making a new pot of coffee, not sorting the trash correctly, and any other minor offence. It's a laugh out loud scenario by itself, but we also get to see some unexpected sides of Terry when he gives a serious presentation to his colleagues and reacts badly when he gets hurt himself, which gives him a little more depth as a character. Such a shame then that the short only has time to do this in a couple of instances, leaving it as a fun couple of minutes, but not much more.
This is an exciting comedy. The main character Terry Tate works at a company. He gets along well with other member of this company and he joins events in the company well. Although, he is kind and he is loved by his colleagues, he has another character. He dislikes the people who do not follow rules in the company,so he corrects them by unique ways. Thanks to him,the member's attitude for work imploves and he succeeds to maintain discipline in the company. The way he uses is really unique enough to be broadcast via TV news. In the scene of the people in the company breaking rules, I was interest in the way of Terry corrects them. The gap between when he is angry and when he is not makes this movie more interesting and I laughed a lot when I watched this movie.
This is a comedy short film about a retired American football player, Terry Tate, enforcing rules in an office and correcting the wrongdoings of his colleagues in his own way. Believe it or not, since his arrival in the work place, the productivity of the company has increased, and despite the way he does his job, he fits right in the environment, and everyone, especially his boss, likes him. This is one of the most hilarious films I have ever seen. It was so funny that I saw half of the episodes in a row. Terry is quite a character, which I think is an essential factor for a good film, and I love his trash talking lines that never fail to make me giggle. I am not a huge fan of American football, well, I don't even know the first thing about it, but each and every one of the episodes still had me laughing. When I say the first thing, I mean I didn't even know what linebacker was and had to actually google it. This is a kind of film that you can still enjoy even if you have zero knowledge about the sport, and I am sure those who are expert about it can as well.

This film is funny because Terry is very a humorous person. I did not get tried to watch the sight of tackling unexpectedly by Terry. But I don't want to work in this workplace! Rule violation is not good, although just because I am tackled by him of forgivable.
I don't know such a rule of force is the right thing. It may be regarded as power harassment if he tackled in Japan. Don't people who are tackled by terry get injured? When pushed down violently without armor, they are likely to get injured except people who mastered how to go a defensive fall. There are a lot of strange points if I thought seriously, but considering it is fiction, this film is exciting and enjoyable! A man who worked coolly although his desk shook violently because Terry tackled someone was also a good character. I like him!

This movie is fiction but seems real. I think it is because this movie shows the interviews with the boss and Terry Tate. Without these scenes, it might look like a more artificial one. The idea is very hilarious that an American football player is hired at the company and enforces the rules. I think what makes this movie more interesting is he could notice how small breaking rules he or she done and he imposes punishment on them regardless of sex. Though watching him tackle anybody who breaks a rule makes us feel good. If a person like him is in real life, I will be scared of going to the office. However, some people would want to employ him after watching this as the number of people who are irritated by those actions are not at all small. This movie would be useful for making people realize and correct their wrong behavior.

I think this short film is very funny and ridiculous. However, I do not mean that I dislike this type of film. I think this type of film makes the viewer laugh easily. And also we can laugh without thinking any logical reason for it. However I think it is difficult to think of a film idea that few people can think of. This films is interesting partly because we cannot think of such an idea; what if an American football player makes rules in an office. Before I watch this film, I thought that it is not worth filming when I hear the story. However after watching it, I think this film is very easy to enjoy for everyone from young to old.
