Donkey Kong

No offense to the person who gave the stunning review of a classic game in Donkey Kong Country, but this game is the Game Boy/Super Game Boy remake of the original Donkey Kong. It features 100 levels with the original 4 from the arcade being the first 4 in the game. Personally I found several of the puzzles to be quite tricky (I know one made me scratch my head for a few weeks) but overall the game was incredibly engaging and amazingly fun. I played it on the Game Boy, however I checked it out on the Super Game Boy once with a friend who had the Super Nintendo add on and it was stunning! You cannot get the same colors (and absolutely not the cool arcade background) with any of the newer Game Boys. In fact this game and Space Invaders from the same time frame make me want to go to EB Games and buy a Super Game Boy used so I can play these the way they were meant to be played. Great game!

I remember when i first played this game way back in 1994. I thought that this game was a class game to play. You can play as Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong. You also can visit Crankey for advice and also you can visit Candy to save the game. I enjoyed visiting Funky, the one with his Surf board and i liked the music. I think overall Donkey Kong is a great game to play, i give the game 10/10
