Trama

He is well educated, charming, and gallant - a dream for each lonely lady. In reality he is a skillful swindler, who robs naive women. Cheating merchants with guilty consciences are his targets as well. This is the elusive protagonist of the movie. He constantly changes his name, stages his own death, and travels from town to town. His exploits are myriad and his life is an endless adventure. Working 9 to 6 and being a civil servant is tough. Every day is the same. Striving with that routine for a long time and given the fact that he has a tremendous talent of speaking craftily and intellectually, Gencho Gunchev decides to break bad and run away from all the miserable life he had. His primary aim is to prey on lonely and naive women, passing himself off sometimes as an urbanist, sometimes as a bank branch manager. While doing these, he often chooses surnames reminding the birds like; hawk, eagle, pelican or falcon. Although he is not very handsome and even short, he takes advantage of saving the flamboyant words and phrases from his past, in order to seduce women, which are eager to be loved and carried. Travels from town to town and gaining experience with every case, he became aggressive, summing up more and more money and jewelry. But as every serial criminal, he has one weakness. In this case this is Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. He is also obsessed with the famous architect Frank Lloyd Right, whom is mentioned many times in the film. Rising number of the deceived women alarms the police forces and they attempt to catch the perpetrator. But this going to take a while, because he even manages to declare himself as officially dead. After numerous attempts, police will track him down and catch him up, while he was performing his best performance ever. The movie is actually a "one man show", performed brilliantly by Todor Kolev and easily can be count as one of the biggest films of Bulgarian Cinema.
