Haunted Highway

I am embarrassed to admit that I wasted 99 cents on this piece of crap! It's awful, around every turn I hoped there would be something thrilling.

There's no 'highway', just a long dark road that just keeps rolling by the camera. It's ridiculous that the speedometer shows at a few times that he was driving 75 mph. THAT IS Ridiculous! I'm sure the Director/Writer of this film didn't intend for the audience to see comedic moments in his 'thriller', but me and my son did get a few laughs out of the film.

The script sucked, the acting sucked, the directing sucked, the sound effects sucked.

The only thing that was haunted about this movie was the haunting feeling that I got from throwing away 99 cents.

After getting creeped out by "Dead End", I thought another film about ghosts on the highway might be entertaining. Wrong! There were a few eerie moments here and there, but the acting is so atrocious that you can't ever get engrossed in the story. Particularly bad is the girl portraying "Yumi" who must have been told that speaking in a sing-song baby voice is the key to brilliant characterization. There also seems to be many shots of the guy traveling the same stretch of highway over and over again, even though he's supposed to be going from point A to point B. I saw the same trees and rocks many times, and the trees all seem to be white birches for some inexplicable reason. Not worth the price of the rental. See "Dead End" for a good scare.

I gave it a rating of 4 because of it's humor. If I were to rate it for what it is supposed to be a 1 would even be a little generous. It is not even close to a well made movie. The acting is horrible, as well as the effects and entire production to be honest, but it does have some good humor value. I would not recommend spending money renting it, but if you ever catch it on late night TV or something it's good for a laugh and an example of how to suck at making a movie. I have no idea who the actors are, but they obviously don't have any experience. The guy certainly over-acted and the girls were absolutely pathetic (pretty good looking I guess, if that's your thing, but no clue on how to act in a movie). What I did enjoy was the lake in the movie. It was a pretty setting and looks like a nice place to spend a day paddling a canoe around.

OK so this was the worst movie i had ever seen in my entire life. i actually finished it though. c me and my friends were having a slumber party and i wanted something scary so i picked up haunted highway....bad choice.It was completely a low budget movie had no real actors and there were only 3 main actors and one was this robot talking Asian lady. o my goodness and the ending sucked as well it was just horrible. The movie as a whole would make you consider any other movie you every thought was bad should deserve and Oscar.. but this is just my 2 cent on the worlds worst movie.Take my word for it. And if you really and truly don't believe me then go check it out for yourself i bet you wouldn't even finish it!

I watched this because I was looking for good horrors.Never heard of it before.

The storyline is weak.Not many actors in this,and unimpressive acting.Nothing really scary or special in it.Only a guy,few cops,two ladies...and some 'miscellaneous' characters, and shot only in a house,on a highway,and a lakeside.There are Indian horror films which are better shot than this film,though very often Indian horrors are considered horrible.

Perhaps the only good thing in this film is it shows the end tragic result of extra marital affairs.

All in all,not worth.
