The only shared credit of
David Soul and
John Byner. Two years after this special, the latter title character of
Starsky & Hutch (1975) played by Soul would be spoofed by Byner in the made-for-TV movie
Murder Can Hurt You! (1980), a sendup of TV detective shows, with Byner playing Hatch to
Jamie Farr's Studsky, spoofing the Starsky character played in the original by
Paul Michael Glaser.
