Selen nell'isola del tesoro

Joe d'Amato was among the best porn directors ever as all his movies try to be more than sex action : he paid attention to wardrobe, props so his sets look like expected. After visiting Roma, here he comes in Renaissance ! Sure he has not the budget of Pirates of the Caribbean, but this one is really looking good as it really feels like old pictures from that time : for sure, Selen is as expected totally exciting : it was the time when she tried blonde hairs and it suits her, as the old brown, purple medieval robes. Maybe she is not too much wild in this one, but we are caught by the adventure and that's the better comment we can make about a movie !

Yet another Joe D'Amato "adult" film, this time with a sexy blonde trying to sleep her way to a treasure. Selen ended up appearing in a couple of the director's better known films and it's easy to see why people would be attracted to these over many others out there. Selen is certainly easy on the eyes and D'Amato's camera-work never goes away from her. The rest is pretty blah.

Director Joe D'Amato will always be remembered for his horror films like BEYOND THE DARKNESS and ANTROPOPHAGUS as well as his long running Emanuelle series with Laura Gamser. After the Italian horror market dried up, D'Amato had a comeback with the softcore ELEVEN DAYS ELEVEN NIGHTS, which eventually led to the director doing porn titles. The director had previously mixed sex and horror in such titles as PORNO HOLOCAUST and EROTIC NIGHS OF THE LIVING DEAD but those films were a long way off from his later day porn.
