Two Goes Into Two, Once

The ubiquitous soft porn star John Dullaghan toplines as DIRTY DR. DEVIATE, After Hours Cinema's DVD reissue of a forgettable soft sex programmer.

Format is simple: the doc and his beautiful nurse Joyce (Donna Young) service folks with sexual problems, usually couples. It's all designed to take their money as well as have sex with lots of people.

Casting beautiful women makes this film tolerable. The AHC booklet giving a detailed description of the film fails to point out that the print used here was evidently spiced up several years later with a brief hardcore porn insert, as well as a stupid orgy sequence featuring 5 couples having sex that while softcore is stronger in content (full frontal male nudity) than the rest of the picture.

Sharon Dempsey is a standout as usual, and this is the second time she has a big bandage covering her butterfly tattoo. George Clooney must be a fan of hers, judging by his papillon decal in his current turkey "The American". Colleen Murphy is also impressive as patient Susan Jones, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Amy Adams here.
